It solved the problem of downloading 0kb files instead of YouTube videos.

(with Firefox 25.0, DownloadHelper 4.9.21)

When I was checking out Plug-ins and updating them, I was not prepared for the Adobe DC with Cloud and the other things it has to offer. The Adobe XI that I had contained my PDF files. When my Vista OS fell apart, I lost quite a few things. The only thing I do not like is that you cannot get the older version of Adobe back on the desktop unless you are an IT person, which I am not. I know it has to be on the hard drive. I have tried to download it, but it comes up this an error stating that Adobe DC is the version I want. I have a Dell Windows 7 Professional Inspiron 3847 2013. I just wish I could have my Adobe XI.

I have a new pc running Windows 10. After loading Mozilla Firefox, I went to tools; options; content; selected to Block pop-up windows but it doesn't work. Everytime I go to a new site, multiple windows pop up all over the page. I am running McAfee Total Protection. I went to the firefox blog website, found the follow info, ran it and still no help.

Chosen Solution hi Cynthia.Wilson, from the data you've submitted, you appear to have malicious addons present. so please perform all these steps: 1. reset firefox (this will keep your bookmarks and passwords) 2. afterwards go to the firefox menu ≡ > addons > extensions and in case there are still extensions listed there, disable them. 3. finally run a full scan of your system with different security tools like the free version of malwarebytes and adwcleaner to make sure that adware isn't present in other places of your system as well. Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware

I have only McAfee add ons and it will it not let me activate my Adobe Acrobat DC - Create PDF or Adobe Flash Player.

Can you please help me with this issue? Thanks!

It works on most videos but there are several that won't download properly. Whenever I try it says "0 bytes" and the video won't play with Media Player, Realplayer, or any other program. Does anyone know how to fix this or another Firefox addon for me to try? I also tried downloading the videos with Realplayer's download too but that won't work either.

I don't know to whom to turn to first - Firefox, Malwarebytes or windows 10. Malwarebytes stopped opening, let alone run, just after a windows 10 downloaded update, last week 7/13 or 7/14. Windows is in a continual "Uninstall" mode. The process keeps trying to run with nothing happening, which I can only stop by completely turning off my PC, not just restarting it. There was a message about "MBAM" not being there or something like that. Could that have anything to do with Firefox? Do I have to find a Windows forum to pose the question to? I could not find a written question area on Malwarebytes

Update for Windows Security updates (running vista ) would not allow Firefox or IE to access internet but Thunderbird Ok . Could access internet in Safe mode through both IE and Firefox. and Thunderbird. On driver list Consumer IR device driver had yelow triangle exclamation. After some research removed a series of updates KB 2887069, KB 2893294, KB 2898785, KB 2892075, KB 2893984, KB 2901674. all from 13/12/13. This allowed the system to access internet, updates then reinstalled failed to access internet. So removed only KB 2887069 then system again accessed internet.

Is this now ok or will there be a security problem as update is not in place??

Video clips in BBC news items keep coming up with "Content doesn't appear to be working. Try again later" when I try to view them in Pale Moon (Firefox by another name) but they play with no problem in SeaMonkey. A setting isn't right in Pale Moon but I don't know which one. I don't often watch clips but every now and then there is one of interest.

I haven't installed any Add-Ons or Plug-Ins over and above any that come ready installed apart, maybe, for Fox-It, my .pdf reader.

Any suggestions as to what the problem is and how to resolve it please?

I am trying to get active Tab Title as well as URL from Mozilla Firefox. I have started to build up a Firefox add on and installed it using registry entry. My own developed Firefox add on is installed perfectly and it is showing the current machine time. This Firefox add on contains file like chrome.manifest, install.rdf, sample.xul, overlay.xul, clock.xul, clock.js etc. Below is my code.

chrome.manifest ---- content helloworld jar:chrome/helloworld.jar!/content/ overlay chrome://browser/content/browser.xul chrome://helloworld/content/overlay.xul locale helloworld en-US jar:chrome/helloworld.jar!/locale/en-US/ locale helloworld fr-FR jar:chrome/helloworld.jar!/locale/fr-FR/ skin helloworld classic/1.0 jar:chrome/helloworld.jar!/skin/classic/ style chrome://browser/content/browser.xul chrome://helloworld/skin/overlay.css style chrome://global/content/customizeToolbar.xul chrome://helloworld/skin/overlay.css

clock.xul---- <dialog id="clockDialog" xmlns="http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul"

   title="&helloworld.clock;" buttons="accept"
   onload="initClock();">
 <script type="application/javascript" src="chrome://helloworld/content/clock.js" />
 <hbox align="center">
   <label value="&helloworld.currentTime;:" />
   <textbox id="currentTime" />
 </hbox>

</dialog>

clock.js----- function initClock() {

 showCurrentTime();
 window.setInterval(showCurrentTime, 1000);

}

function showCurrentTime() {

 var textbox = document.getElementById("currentTime");
 textbox.value = new Date().toLocaleTimeString();
 textbox.select();

}

I want to convert this code to fetch current tab title and URL from Firefox browser. At first, I am concentrating on the browser extension part and not the native for now and I just want to have a listener inside the js files such that whenever I switch to a different firefox tab or firefox window, an alert should show up from the browser itself (not from native at this moment) displaying the active tab's title and URL.

I want to get the solutions it code . It would be great help if any one can help me to get the exact solutions.

Do you hold customers and users to the same standards that you hold your leaders? If not, why not? If opposing gay marriage is disqualifies a person to be your leader, then perhaps it should disqualify such

  a person to be your customer or user as well. If one's beliefs on this subject can be so awful that one
  can get fired for having them, then I guess the same belief is awful for a user as well, and he or she should be barred from using your service.

I support traditional marriage, not gay marriage. I take the same position our President did up until a

  couple of years ago. Should he have been disqualified from using Firefox then, and reinstated once he
  made a public profession of belief in gay marriage? Was he evil back then, but converted to good now?

I will wait for your answer before using my Firefox again. Up until this week I was very satisfied with your

  product. If it comes with a need for me to deny my beliefs to be a part of your community, then I will
  sadly understand, but will gladly support your right to choose whatever religious test you want to have
  in your community. I must say, though, that I preferred the time when Firefox was just a program. I think
  that the fewer of these religious tests we all have the better.
  Thank you for your time in reading this. I wish you God's blessing… the same that I wish for any

homosexual. I just cannot support gay marriage.

Many people have been telling me to delete you guys from my computer. Quite frankly, I like your product. But I don't like the idea of censorship. If you really fired your CEO for his personal views from some non violent peaceful expression of them, well, that would be pretty lame. However, you can't trust the media these days, so I thought I would ask you directly.

Thanks much.
