I always keep so many tabs open in my Firefox browser that they are inconvenient to search because they are all on one line and you have to scroll through them horizontally. Seeing how easy it is to organize the top bookmarks bar instead, I realized that it would be great if you could organize the tabs like bookmarks, with dropdown menus and submenus and separators. The next step might be to find a way to unify bookmarks and tabs, harmonizing the static features of the former and the dynamic features of the latter.

I use Firefox on all my devices, most of which are Windows 11. I use the same browser extensions and the same settings on all devices. On one particular device, a serious issue keeps happening (every two or three months in average). Suddenly Firefox starts hanging indefinitely upon launch, and has to be forcibly terminated. If I disable all the extensions, the problem is not solved. Firefox can start only in safe mode. The only solution I have found is to create a new profile and start all over from scratch. I need to figure out what is causing the issue in the first place, and then also a way to solve it without having to trash the profile. Thank you

Today when I powered on my pc and opened up firefox all tabs were lost.

I have the option to retain tabs when opened up enabled.

I could not find them anywhere, so I had to search opened tabs from the other synced devices and click on each of them, and create again all the tab groups.

This is a big problem if randomly all the tabs can get lost, am I doing something wrong?

Another thing : I thought that when I create groups of tabs, and save them I coul retrieve them across all my synced devices, but the other devices can not see those groups, is this a normal behaviour?

Goodmorning, I've noticed this issue only in vanilla firefox (not the forks of it) and only in .rpm builds so the .exe, .deb and tar.gz are free. My firefox is generally fluent without any problem but when i go into the sidebar menu and select the bookmarks, history and other categories witch have another animation transition this is completly laggy and not fluent as it should be, and when i tested this issue on (for example librewolf a fork of firefox in the same versions) this issue wont happen so only vanilla firefox may be affected.

I'm currently on fedora 41 GNOME with wayland always uptodate and firefox 134.0.2 but this issue happened also on open suse and other rpm distro. I had this problem since a lot but i found that firefox-esr haven't this issue (tested on opensuse leap).

Buonasera, ho scaricato l'estensione yandex mail, e volevo rendere predefinita la mia casella di posta in yandex nelle mail predefinite di firefox. Ho provato a impostarla nelle applicazioni predefinite (mailto) ma nonostante l'ho scaricata non mi appare nell'elenco. Grazie

Buongiorno, possiedo un computer portatile con windows 8.1 e uso Firefox versione 115.8esr(64bit), vorrei sapere se aggiorno Fireox alla versione che ancora supporta il mio sistema, non ci saranno problemi per scaricare file tipo: programmi, pdf da mail ecc. Chiedo questo perchè Firefox è al momento l'unico Browser che mi permette di scaricare file sul pc. Altri browser tipo Google, Chrome e altri, non supportando più la versione 8.1 di windows non permettono di scaricare semplici file tipo pdf allegati alle mail. Attendo qualche consiglio in maniera da non dover cambiare pc oppure passare a versioni di windows più recenti in quanto al mio pc dovrei aumentare anche memoria, hd o altro. Grazie.

Non si è ancora risolto il problema con ChatGPT, non riesco ad eccedervi da Firefox e mi serve assolutamente farlo. continua a comparire la schermata in allegato, da tutti gli altri browser funziona.

Buongiorno, sto riscontrando un problema persistente con Firefox su Windows: il browser non si avvia. Quando provo ad aprirlo, il cursore indica un caricamento per qualche secondo, ma la finestra non compare e il processo si chiude senza messaggi di errore.

Dettagli importanti: - Firefox non crea alcuna cartella in %APPDATA%\Mozilla, dopo reinstallazione - Il processo firefox.exe compare brevemente e poi scompare - Non viene mostrato alcun errore a schermo

Tentativi già effettuati (tutti senza successo): - Disinstallazione completa e reinstallazione pulita - Rimozione manuale di eventuali residui (Program Files, AppData, LocalAppData) - Verifica che Firefox non risulti più installato - Avvio come amministratore - Avvio con parametri (firefox -P, firefox -safe-mode) - Controllo e disattivazione temporanea di antivirus / Windows Defender - Verifica Accesso controllato alle cartelle (ransomware protection) - Controllo che non esistano profili o file di lock - Riavvio del sistema dopo ogni operazione

Il problema si presenta anche al primo avvio, prima che venga creato qualsiasi profilo utente.

Aggiungo che la problematica descritta si è presentata su 3 altri pc.

Buongiorno. Vorrei poter cancellare i cookie da "Impostazioni - Privacy e sicurezza" ma mantenerne alcuni. In pratica vorrei cancellare i cookie dei siti internet visitati ma non essere disconnesso da Google, Yahoo, ed altri. Come posso fare? Ho provato anche con l'impostazione della pagina "Salvare i dati nell'archivio permanente" (impostato su "Consenti") ma quando cancello i cookie vengo disconnesso lo stesso. Esiste una impostazione per escludere certi siti dalla cancellazione? Grazie Stefano
