My computer hard drive had to be replaced but I had a back-up drive on it so my data was saved.

I have to reload software and in doing so I re-installed firefox.

My question is can I retrieve my past firefox data from my back-up drive so I can save all of my bookmarks, history, etc?

This never happened before and does not ever happen on explorer.  please help, i hate explorer and dont want to go back to.  thank you

Example: I am working on my computer: Google or i-Photo. A friend sents an urgent mail. I get no warning, no notification. After 2 or 3 hours I stop and switch off. The day after I discover the mail: sometimes it's too late. English is not my mothertongue,sorry!

had a translate function in the toolbar, when I updated firefox it went away and I cannot figure out how to get it back. Basically ifyou were on a e mail or website that was in a different language you just hit this and it translated it no highlighting no cut and paste HELP I am an american living in a foreign country and am desperate

Good afternoon, I am using Firefox on a Macintosh computer. When ever i open the application Firefox it opens off set to the right. I have put the complete application in the trash and reinstalled the latest and greatest. It still comes off set to the right. I have a laptop and it is OK. What can I do. They appear using the sidebar feature but not using the library!

Also an irritating feature seems to be if you go to bookmarks from the menu and scroll down through your folders to try to get to the latest bookmark, the folders open on the way down to the little arrow at the bottom and they obscure it, preventing you from getting to the bottom bookmark. This is really irritating. Can it be fixed?

When I open Firefox 5.0.1 (using Windows XP Home), Firefox starts to open tab after tab automatically and I have to close the program to stop the proceeding misfunction! ??

On July 16, 2011, at approx 8:30 p.m. Firefox crashed. I've tried reloading at least 10 times, I continue to get a "Bad Request" Tab as my home page! This has never happened before, but, it has taken up alot of my time and I cannot seem to get the right help. Is there a phone # for technical help?

In the process of completing the upgrade from Vista, suing the Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade Disk we lost power temporarily causing the computer to reboot. It did not restart from the point it was at during the upgrade process and thus lost all Vista info and apparently my Firefox Data. A file called "Windows Old" was created which shows some Firefox files but I see nothing to indicate or point to all my bookmarks.

I am devastated! My research files as well as my teaching aids were all organized in this old installation. Is there any hope here???

Click the Bookmarks button(star)on the right side of the navigation toolbar (Windows XP: click the Bookmarks menu) and select Show All Bookmarks to open the Library window.

When I click on the star, there is no option to Show All Bookmarks. I can click on "bookmarks menu", but nothing happens when I do so.

I'm running Windows 7 and installed the latest version of Firefox today (July 18, 2011).
