My bookmarks used to appear in the bookmark drop-down menu but now are only available in the bookmark sidebar. I have tried the reset to default option. I have tried deleting the places.sqlite file and the localstore.rdf file from the profile, but no change. Should I also try deleting the places.sqlite-shm and places.sqlite-wal files??

How can I get my bookmarks back to where they were?

Also, I am unable to export bookmarks to html -- goes through the motions, but no file is created.

hi, i have dial up. just got clear wireless. if i use the dial up i can use firefox, no problem. i have the latest firefox. if i use clear i can only get a couple of websites. can some help me. not to computer savvy. i need step by step info. thank you bonnie

The right click menu option "Send Link" appears to have disappeared from Firefox 16 (desktop). Why? Is it coming back. I used this feature several times a day (and so did several of my friends). There does not seem to be a Add-On to can perform the same function. Please Help!

I upgraded to 16 and now the browser opens with a new page even though I have set the default to My homepage. I have tried several times to reset to the homepage but all without success.

i have just seen on the news that updates to 16.01 have been stopped due to a security issue. Despite this statement from Mozzilla my stystem has automaticaly updated to 16.01. has the fault been fixed or do I need to switch back to an earlier version. If yes how do I do that

Since upgrading from 15.0.1 to 16.01, i noticed the Awesome Bar looks larger and some things are highlighted. This is distracting to my eyes. Is there an add-on fix or rollback option?

I have had to reset Firefox 3 times. Everytime I notice an "Old Firefox Data" folder appear on my desktop with subsequent numbers following the title. What are these files for? What do I do with them?

I downloaded some program the other day but removed it again. Yet my browser opens up my new tabs with the URL: http://newtab.certified-toolbar.com/nff/?si=41460&tid=592&new=true How do I change it back? I've just updated my browser to the latest version and thought that might fix it but it didn't. I've also tried to mail those powering the website above but my mail failed to be delivered. I'm tired of the page - please help. :-)

Firefox has stopped opening links from a search when I click on them. I get a new tab with "about:blank" in the address bar. I think this problem just started today, after a lot of Windows Updates this morning, Chrome isn't having a problem. Is anyone else having this problem with Firefox and have any idea which windows update is causing the problem?

I just noticed that when I'm composing an email in AOL mail that the red underline would appear under parts of a correctly spelled word as if some portion of that word was misspelled which isn't the case. I contacted AOL and they said it was probably a browser problem which turns out it is. After disabling spell check, in Tools, the problem went away. Re enable and the problem returns. I have the English language dictionary installed and I added the English language dictionary add on. This seems to have alleviated the problem, some what, but not completely. It sometimes will not underline an obviously misspelled word. Never had this problem until I installed FF 16. There has to be a bug in FF 16. Please review and advise. Thanks

Hello, i need some help please the problem is when i click on the chat of facebook or on message, friend and notification logo, it shows nothing, and it's the same problem when i try to upload a file in a storage site (med..fire) after selecting a file when i click on upload nothing happens, it also doesn't work with private navigation. I usually resolve my problems with no or just some searches, but know i don't see to resolve this, just a few days ago all works perfectly!. PS : this problem seems to disappear on firefox 3 but not on 10,15 and 16. Thank you.

Reloaded current version of FF yesterday and now bullets on my website do not display. The list displays without bullets. Displayed correctly before FF was reloaded

FF v. 16.00 removed the context menu item: "Send Link" I would like it back now, please.

Apple and Microsoft remove features at will from their products and users just have to lump it, work around if possible, or go somewhere else. I consider this 'software fascism'.

Why does FireFox have to behave this way? Just put the feature in and disable by default.

I'm trying to remove the dotted line around flash objects and links in Firefox 16.01, but I don't know how to find Firefox's CSS or what would work to do so. Setting the ring value to 0 in about:config didn't work.

Firefox just updated itself to version 16.0.1. Now, when attempting to close multiple tabs, I get the "Confirm close" warning even though the "Warn me when closing multiple tabs" option is unchecked. I tried checking that option, confirming the change, then unchecking that option again & confirming the 2nd change, too. This has made no difference. Firefox is not obeying the option setting.

The problem didn't occur before the update to 16.0.1 but did occur in the first session afterwards & has persisted since.

I opened my laptop and a pop up message appeared when I opened Foxfire stating something about Foxfire not being able to secure my computer due to the operating system that my Mac runs on.
