I don't want my users to save their password on the browser. Is there a way to disable password manager or gray-out the remember password box (without selecting never remembering history option) so that users are not able to save their passwords.

I want to ad the Chillglobal ADD-ON to my LG Smart TV WebOs 2.x but I cannot install Firefox on my TV. So I want to solve it to run Firefox from a Flashdrive. Question is if I can install the Firefox on a Flashdrive and how?

Can I set double-click action (select all) to one-click in address bar? after years of using chrome its a little annoying, because I usually type a lot of URLs manually. Also if I remember correctly, this is default for windows os. can I have it on linux, pretty please? :)

Firefox 47.0 on Linux Mint x86_64

Firefox 48.0 on Ubuntu (Virtual Box guest machine on Windows 7 host). I have searched long and hard all over the net and cannot find anything that works. The js is in shared windows folder, mounted within Ubuntu, as is the whole web app. Generally the app works fine, but if I have to tweak a Java Script, the browser will not use the new file. I have tried:

• Developer web console is open and "Disable Cache" is checked.
• ctrl-r
• ctrl-shift-r
• ctrl-F5
• Holding own shift when pressing the browser reload button.
• Going to Menu|Preferences|Advanced|Network and pressing [Clear Now]

I am using a framework so I cannot add a version/timestamp on the end of the script file name.

The only way I have found that works so far is to shutdown the machine and bring it up again. That takes a long time for a simple script tweak/test to show up. It is wasting a LOT of my time...

Please, is there a faster, easier way to get Firefox to use that new file?

Hi, Have a Dash Cam that records on a MicroSD card.

I am not able to view/playback the recording on my PC or Laptop.

I have a Card reader. A MicroSD adapter. I just can't get the Computer to play-back the Video.

Any Tips on the steps to take appreciated.

I cant do sign out from gmail in firfox( no problem in chrome or explorer). already try reset , refresh... even i did reinstall, but the problem still.Also search box not auto fill the contacts. anybody can help me

When i click on my Google account icon nothing happens. In the same way the button of the Google apps, where you can choose the application you need, is not working: when i click on the button sometimes it open a new page (where i can choose the app) instead the menu with the apps.

I am fluent in 3 languages : french, english and spanish. I have configured Firefox (Preferences > Content > Languages) with all 3 languages, in that order : French, French (France), English, English (US), Spanish, Spanish (Spain)

Still, I can't prevent a lot of english websites to be automatically (and poorly) translated into french. I could switch language preferences and put english first, but then I would have a lot of french websites automatically (and poorly) translated into english.

I don't need any translation when a website is either in french, english or spanish. No translation at all.

hence, I'd like to completely disable all kind of automatic website translation. Everywhere. All the time. If someday I happen to come across a website that I want to translate, I know many other ways of doing so.

I hope this can be achieved somehow, even if I must tweak some Firefox settings.

i try many ad aware programs even cc cleaner none of them can delete this searchinme sht firefox is infected with the programms found searchinme and deleted it but after restart all is stil there so i will be great full for any help to get it off of my pc

I opened Mozilla Firefox and went to a website and downloaded a PDF converter file to enable me to print specific diagrams. Now when I click to Firefox (set to Google) home page it comes up in "PDF converterHQ by my way" and no the usual Firefox. I would like to delete the PDF 'thingy' and go back go back to the original, I have shut down the computer and started it again, but still get the same PDF converterHQ. Please can somebody help. I have Windows 10

having used OPERA for at least five years, I'm now having issues with plug-ins like flash and adobe reader, now the new update is rendering half of the sites I visit unviewable. SO I installed firefox from mozilla.org latest version (I hope) but now that I have it, it doesn't give me the options to import from OPERA only edge and ie. the whole purpose of the switch was to break clean from OPERA, but I won't give up all I have bookmarks, history, passwords and certain site cookies. Help me break free from opera show me how to import all this from opera

The search bar to the right of the address bar disappeared while double clicking. The need to double click began after the last software update. It has been a nuisance and now caused loss of search bar.

I have tried just about everything and no luck. Firefox mysteriously started displaying ALL web pages incorrectly (broken frames) It was working fine until today. I'm running Windows 8.1, Firefox version 47 on a thinkpad yoga 1.5 yr old.

I have tried all solutions from previous postings and threads (from Tech_Chaos on 10/26/15) and no luck:

• started firefox on safe mode,
• disabled all extensions
• Clear the Cache
• Turn off hardware acceleration
• Turn off Norton Antivirus suite

Any assistance to resolve this problem would be appreciated. I like firefox but this my force me to other browsers....

why does firefox block the latest version of adobe flash 22.0.0.192?

why does firefox let adobe updater vs. 6.0 ask to update an already updated adobe reader 11.0.10? it's not DC. acrobat reader 5.0 still installed.

i have a mac mini: osx 10.6.8, 2.53 ghz core duo, 4 gig ram.

Hi there, I tried downloading a file today, and it gave me no prompt to save, or any errors. It doesn't show up in the downloads tab no does it even initiate. I've tried downloading several other files, and the same thing. This doesn't usually happen, just the other day it worked fine.

I've tried downloading with both Chrome and iE, and they both work - i prefer using Firefox though.

I've followed all the troubleshooting advie I could find on the support pages, to no avail.

I disabled my anit-virus, I've uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox. Cleared the cache and cookies. But still no downloads.

This has never happened to me before, is there something I can do to rememdy this issue?

I'm now wishing I hadn't refreshed Mozilla Firefox. It said it would backup bookmarks of which I had alot but which I can't open and restore. When I try al I get is the Unable to process the backup file. Plus when I try to save new bookmarks, I don't know where they are going as they do not show up under bookmark sidebar which is the only thing that even says bookmarks.
