I'm currently using FF 3.6.13 on Windows 7 X64. I've finally got wireless online with Reliance Netconnect in India.

I have tried numerous times to download from the web, ranging from the VLC program to JPG files attached to emails. When prompted, I click "Save file." Then I can't find the file. There's nothing in my "Downloads" folder.

I WAS able to do this some months earlier on a land line in India and also the last time I was in the US.

Upon entering my username and password, I used to press the tab key on my keyboard to move between clickable or button fields. This was possible on a previous versions of Firefox. Firefox 3.6.13 doesn't allow me to do this. When I press the TAB key on my keyboard after entering the username and password, the cursor jumps to the URL address box. It used to jump onto the OK button, which, then I would press enter to login. This happens with all sites. Also, the TAB key doesn't jump through ALL clickable URL fields. It was helpful/faster than using the mouse to click on the OK button. Can this be reverted to the way the previous Firefox used to do?

When I get a link sent in an email, the link no longer opens when I click on it. When I click on the link, Firefox and the open internet tabs appear on my screen, but the new link does not open. I must manually copy the link, then paste it in the address bar to get it to open.

When I sign into Methodintegration.com my data base I can get in ok. When I sign out I get the following error: I am getting an error Bad Request Request too long HTTP Error 400. The size of the request headers is too long. If I close Fire Fox and go back in it will work one time and then I get the same error message.

In addition to the Downloads window, I also get a little notification that appears from the taskbar to let me know that a download has completed. How can I disable it? I've checked Tools, Control Panel, the Taskbar options/properties, as well as the Add-on Manager (thinking maybe it was an extension that I added a while back). The option/feature doesn't show up anywhere. What am I missing here?? I want to turn it off.

I am unable to get the Firefox browser window to launch. The application will attempt to open, but the browser window will not appear. Task manager indicates that the process is running, it just will not launch the window. No amount of restarts or reboots will make a difference. The strange thing about this is that Firefox has never run. This is a new computer and this issue has been a problem since it was first plugged in. Troubleshooting steps attempted thus far: 1) Attempted to open in safe mode - will not open 2) Attempted to run in administrator mode- will not open 3) Completely uninstalled application, including profile info and reinstalled 4) Uninstalled known conflicts - Skype 4 (do not have Norton) 5) Even though issues since new, I ran a virus scan just in case-nothing 6) Uninstalled Chrome which I installed after originally being unsuccesful at getting FF to install (I uninstalled it before I began all of these troubleshooting steps as I have heard of conflicts)

I am now at a loss and willing to try any other steps that you guys can suggest.

Computer is running Windows 7 pro 64 bit. Running McAffee virus software. There are three identical computers in my office, purchased at exactly the same time with the same configuration. Mine is the only one that will not run firefox. Sadness. Please help, pleeeease...

Even now, when I registered to ask my question, as soon as I typed the first letter of my username auto complete gave me the options that have been used. I have accidentally typed a password right after a username before and now that also pops up as an option.

I have tried clearing cookies. I also tried clearing the cache, but never sure if it has worked The posts I read said to click the ok button after the clear now button. I don't have an ok button. How do I clear this and prevent it from happening again.

MS Internet Explorer browser, in the security settings, has the ability to set "Trusted Sites". Sites that I trust that will not harm my computer and are thus allowed to open pop-ups and other features that are needed to interact with the website.

I am unable to get data feeds when using Firefox and the help desk supporting my application requested me to add their url's as Trusted Sites in my browser. I am able to do this with the MS Browser but I cannot find an equivalent function in Firefox.

I all of my apps in my computer I can use alt+arrow key to move the curser one word left or right and cmd+arrow key to move the curser to beginning or end of line. But in Firefox this doesn't work other than in certain windows (like this one). I use Mac OS 10.7.3 and Firefox 3.6.13 Please advice /Janne

Every page I load superfish.com is down in my status bar (lower url) slowing me down and making me paranoid. What info are they stealing from me who gave them the right to track me and how do I get rid of them? I love Firefox but I am thinking of trying another ubuntu friendly browser just to get away from these stalkers!!!

I've been using Speed Dial for many months (2+years). then, suddenly one day I lost it. It is not where I can see it. If I click the Tools Add-ons drop down I can see speed dial is there but no way can I restore the speed dial icon back to the menu bar.

When I try to log on to facebook.com using Firefox 3.6, I am directed to a site - socialrewardsurvey.com. I have done a full system scan using MS Essentials and Norton.

It seems to be related to Windows Live Photo Gallery, which I use. Is it legitimate? I've had Firefox crash a couple of times over the last few days and I'm trying to find out if I have malware.

When I enter a user name and password to enter a web site , Firefox asks me if I want Firefox to remember it. I say "Remember". Now I wan to change that password. How di I do this? Thanks, Jerry H
