Every time I resync Firefox, I get these "Your Friendly Reminder: How To Complete Your Sync Setup" emails. I'd like to stop getting them; but I don't see an unsubscribe option.

How do I stop getting "Your Friendly Reminder: How To Complete Your Sync Setup" emails?

I was syncing all my data with mozilla firefox sync, few days back i reinstalled my windows before that i checked account was synced and it had all my bookmarks and logins, after re-installation i logged in my firefox sync account but didnt got any bookmarks or any other data back. Really worried what to do to get that data back.

It has my sign in saved...but it doesnt let me select it at all as supposed to. Then its like I just downloaded it as a new program every time I open it from my task bar

I am located in an area wherre mobiles cannot be used because there is no signal. I have been trying to send sync to a USB memory stick but Firefox will not allow me to do this. Firefox insists that sync can only be sent to mobile devices. I am using Firefox on a desktop with Windows 10.

Hello. I am logged into Firefox on two different computers, but one account. The problem is, the password for some reason is not synced. On one, only the old password works. On another, only the updated password works. Do you know why this is? I already logged out of all devices and logged back in and it still doesn't work.

Basically, I want to reset my password to my Firefox account. I have lost access to the primary email, but I have access to both my secondary emails, and the 2FA device associated with the Firefox account. Is it possible for me to recover the account without losing my data?

I was configuring some update on my windows, until it broke and I was unable to get anything out. Everything had to be formatted. While formatting I didn't remember about the codes, and when I tried to log in my account, it says I have entered wrong password. I do have some guess of what the password may be but I am not sure. So, what I do have right now: Email Authenticator

Is there a way for me to recovery my old password(not firefox, but the ones stored) using just them? If not, is there any limit of me entering wrong passwords? I think if given enough time, I might be able to crack it.

I face with this every time when trying to sign in into Firefox Account. It doesn't matter what OS I'm using. I've tried Linux (Linux Mint, Ubuntu, Fedora, Manjaro, Solus Budgie, KDE Plasma) and Windows 10 (Pro, Pro N). I don't know what to do. I want to use Firefox but this small problem destroy all good that this browser can give me.

Left to go to work, laptop died, turned it on and my profile isn't showing up in profile manager when you first start Firefox, but my folder is there.

How can I get my information back? Because I don't recall using an account for Firefox, this email was for my phone

Hi, I regularly Sync between three devices. The devices are

- PC

- Phone

- Microsoft Surface

PC and Phone are working fine. I can send Tabs between those devices with no problems(my main use of Sync). Unfortunately the Surface doesn't show up as an active device. Sync shows it as "Last seen 2 months ago" so I am unable to send Tabs to that device.

I can Sync the Surface just fine. When I click "Sync Now" it successfully Syncs with no error but the device still shows as "Last seen 2 months ago". Firefox is fully updated on all devices.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I had to reset my OS on the work laptop, and after finishing, I tried to login but I coulnd't get the right password on Firefox. I selected the "reset password" option, and I saw the pop-up noticing me that I might lose some bookmarks. No worries, I said, because I did this before and it was all good. Upon logging in with my new password... I was terrified to find everything missing: my passwords, my bookmarks, my history.. everything. It's all I had ever since I work here (almost 6 years). Is there any way that I could recover my missing data?

This week, I reset my computer. I had been logged into my Firefox account since February 2020 and noticed that my bookmarks and other stuff would be saved.

When I logged into my Firefox account in the web browser, nothing happened. I lost all my bookmarks.

It's very wiered because i really didn't get anything back, and i did'nt make a backup of my bookmarks before my reinstallation.

Someone has a solution to help me get back my bookmarks ?

As in the topic. When I scan the QR code with Google Authenticator, the account is added and new codes start spinning (labeled Firefox ($email)). However, when I enter the visible code into the Enter security code input, I get "Incorrect security code" error (tooltip).

I can see Google Authenticator listed as a supported application, is this no longer valid?

I also tried typing the secret key into the app directly with the same results.
