I recently. Upgraded to the new Firefox for android and all of my tabs disappeared which was unexpected, but alright. What is not alright though is that after I fixed the tabs I wanted they disappeared again when I closed the browser. I have it set to restore tabs, but it only does so 1 or 2 times out of 10 and never when I restart my phone. How can I fix this? It's just plain annoying! I never had this issue with 28!

Hi Kelcy R. Lemme again :-)

1. I would recommend uninstalling all add-ons. Please let us know if that solves the problem (I have tried to reproduce your problem on my Nexus 5 and Galaxy S5 which both run KitKat 4.4.2 and they both work fine)

2. "If I do that how do I close firefox? "

you don't need to close Firefox or any other Androiid App. Android 4.4.2. will automatically close it when needed (and in fact Google recommends that apps don't have an quit option). If you really want to force close it then just go to the Android Settings App and

i) goto the Application Manager ii) scroll down and tap Firefox iii) tap Force Stop

Cheers!

Hi Kelcy R. Lemme

Just tested this on my Galaxy S5 and tabs are restored properly for me if you set: Firefox Menu -> Settings -> Customize -> Tabs to 'Always restore'

Please let us know

1. Your model number and brand of your phone or tablet (e.g. Galaxy S4, HTC One, etc)

2. You Android Operating System Version e.g. kitkat 4.4, jellybean 4.3, etc

3. What add-ons (Firefox Menu -> Tools -> Add-ons) if you any you have installed and if you tried uninstalling those add-ons.

3. What you did, what you expected and what happened

Cheers!

Okay 1. LG G2 2. Kit Kat 4.4.2 3. I have a couple of themes, the light weight themes switcher, and the quit now add-ons I haven't uninstalled anything. 4. So what I did was us the quit now add-on to exit as I don't know how else to exit. Then when I went into Firefox again later the tabs reappeared, but after I've done that 2 or 3 times in a day the next time I open the browser my tabs are gone. I also noticed it happened after I restarted my phone after it had been turned off. The same thing happened in the Firefox beta app too. I already check the settings and always restore is checked. Should I try uninstalling the quit now add-on? If I do that how do I close firefox?
