I seem to recall, albeit in error it seems, that 'in former times' there was an option to open an existing tab in a new window. I cannot find this option and I cannot find any such topic in the forum so far. This is an extremely useful option. I am using FF28 beta on a W7Pro 64bit machine and with tab add-ons: tab history, tab mix plus and prevent tab run-on .

hello MikeZgb2012, you can drag the tab out of the tab-bar to make it open in a new window.
