I often get windows that overlay my Firefox screen. They are often at the bottom or top of my Firefox screen. Also, other sessions of Firefox often appear to start and I can only see them if I look in the task bar. It looks like they may be from ad.doubleclick.net. I tried to add a screen shot but couldn't get it to work.

Good luck! Mike

You can check if you have suspicious extensions installed and possibly disable them as a test.

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
All these programs have free versions.

Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

You can also do a check for a rootkit infection with TDSSKiller.
