In version 19 firefox restores previous tabs. Is this a feature or a bug?

You can tell Firefox not to restore your previous tabs if you want. How do I restore my tabs from last time?
Fine, but somehow the question was not understood. I have the setting in options set to open to home when I open firefox, And yet I get any tab and page. Reset is not an answer this only started with version 19
OK, this didn't post. I have a problem starting in ver 19 that I don't get my home page when I restart firefox, instead I get any page or tab still open when I close. I have set in options, open with home page.
You can check if you have a user.js file in the Firefox profile folder that sets the browser.sessionstore.resume_session_once pref to true.
Yes, I see that file and renamed, the problem goes away. Now, what did I do 10 days ago or what happened to cause this problem. Apparently Firefox does not need this file to function. This is better than a complete reset but I need to know more. Your solution helped but it was not easy to find this information.
If seen quite a few mentions of the presence of a user.js file with this line in it.
I don't know which software or Firefox extension has created it in cases like this.
The user.js file is read every time Firefox is started and prefs set in user.js will override settings from the previous session saved in prefs.js.
So prefs that are set via user.js can't be changed permanently and changes made in Firefox only last for the current session.
I will only accept this solution if it is common knowledge. I have deleted the user.js file. It suites me. What of those who have many extensions and add-on's. I don't need this file. I load Firefox without it. Firefox loads with what I expect. Home page and nothing else. That is all I ask.
