[Duplicate] HOW TO GET AN ANSWER OUT OF FIREFOX ABOUT A PROBLEM
'in browsing i want to CLOSE 1 TAB???? FIREFOX FORCES ME TO "CLOSE~ALL" sending me back to desktop to start over?? 'W H Y'? .... HOW FIX???'

HMMMMMMMMMM 'QUESTION IS' DOES FIREFOX GENERATE MONEY EVERYTIME WE HAVE TO RESTART THE BROWSER???? THER HAS TO BE SOME REASON FOR HAVING TO CLOSE ALL TABS AND NOT JUST 1 TAB!

Don't be asinine thinking Mozilla generates income when a user accidentally closes Firefox and then re-opens it. I often wonder what type of perverse mind comes up with crap like that, and actually posts it in a public forum.
How are you attempting to close 1 tab?
If you have only a few tabs open and the tab closure X appears on the tab that you want to close, use that X.
Have you tried using a right-click in a non-active tab that you want to close, and then clicking on Close Tab?
You cam also middle-click a tab that your want to close - works on active or non-active tabs.
