Old version reappears
I am running Firefox 3.6.10. I installed the beta version 4.0b6 and have been using it; good stuff neat new features. I have these installed in a folder of my choosing not the "Program Files" folder. A strange thing has been happening an old version, 3.0.7 has been installing itself, along with the other two version, but in the Program Files folder. I have done the following to stop it but it keeps reappearing:
1. Uninstall old version. Reappears later. 2. Uninstall old version and 3.6.10, then reinstall 3.6.10. Old version reappears. 3. Uninstall old, then 3.6.10 and then the beta while tuning off all automatic update features. Install 3.6.10 then old version reappears. 4. All installs from fresh downloads
I scanned the machine with SuperAntiSpyware. Checked start up tasks for anything odd.
