Hello Monika.

I'm not sure what you're asking for is possible in default Firefox. You may want to search for an extension that lets you do that, though: addons.mozilla.org.

Now, I will advise you not to share your Firefox profile with people you don't know or trust. See this page to know about managing profiles. All in all, you shouldn't share your computer account in the first place (Firefox profiles are account specific).

The Public Fox add-on may do what you want.

You could set Firefox options to not remember passwords, then use Public Fox to lock down the access to the various components. I have attached a screenshot to show what the add-on can lock. Public Fox can be password protected to stop people from changing your setup.

Hi,

This public fox add on is quite useful, I was looking for this add on only. but it's not working for me. I mean even if I check on lock Bookmark, It does allows me to bookmark a page. I want to disable bookmarking page permanently.

So please advice, Where am I going wrong.

You can clear passwords and cookies via Clear Recent History on exit. Those settings can be prevented to be changed by locking the related prefs. Then Safe mode won't help either to circumvent it. I don't know of a way to prevent bookmarking pages other than deleting places.sqlite on exit or on start via a cmd (bat) file.
