Downloaded 3.6 and fonts so small I can't even read; changed font size in Tools and no effect. Help!!
Since I downloaded 3.6, my font sizes in web pages all shrunk so small that I can barely read anything (even what I'm typing right here). Tools, options, fonts, etc. didn't make any difference. Help!!
This happened
Every time Firefox opened
== I installed 3.6

See Toolbars and page content appear too large after upgrading to Firefox 3
- Try to adjust the DPI setting, see http://kb.mozillazine.org/layout.css.dpi
- Try to increase the String pref layout.css.devPixelsPerPx in 0.1 steps from 1.0 to 2.0 on the about:config page.
To open the about:config page, type about:config in the location (address) bar and press the Enter key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website. If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.
Thx alot for prompt response. This seems too complicated and I don't want to spend a lot of time on this. I think Firefox should resolve this problem within the software. This is a basic feature for a user and Firefox needs to fix it.
As a solution suggested from others who spent a lot of time and frustration trying to resolve, I chose the quick solution -- go back and install the 3.5ish version. It resolved the problem.
