Restricted Mode on Youtube, which had popped up on my laptop about two months back, was driving me crazy, so I decided to redownload Firefox from scratch, which only made the problem worse, as some of the settings such as customizing search engines couldn't be changed anymore due to a network administrator. Changing internet connection points doesn't help the situation either, as none of the settings' availability change.
