I recently updated the Firefox browser on my android phone to version 79.0.5 and the saving a webpage to PDF option isn't present anymore. Has the feature been removed? Any help would be great.

Hi

Save as .pdf is currently not available in Firefox for Android, but may be included in a future update. In the meantime, if you hold down the volume "-" and the power button on your device, Android will take a screenshot and save it to your pictures.

This is an important feature. Firefox must include this Print feature.

Since 1998 mozilla has had "save as a PDF" since1998. This option Why change it. This feature was one of a hand full of features that has kept me loyal these 22 years. Put back "save as a PDF" functionality. Directly in menu under "page" or under "print". I'm already using a browser with this functionality. I'll hold out hope for the next release of firefox.

I am also disappointed that the feature wasn't included. It is one of the features that makes FF unique from other browsers. I'll give a few updates to see if they add it back otherwise I will be uninstalling it and I've been a user from the beginning.

The save as pdf has been one of the best features in Firefox. I think the new release is a serious step in the wrong direction and having tried to use it now for a week or more, I have not changed my mind. I will have to find another browser to use if Mozilla do not restore the save as pdfand other outstanding features of the previous versions. Hugely disappointed.

I have the same issue. Also sad most of my add ons went away. Try opera. It has save to pdf and seems to be a good stable browser. I'm happy I switched.

Hoping that big issue is due to technical matter which be solved quickly! If it has been removed for strategic reason, it's just crazy

It's a new year, there have been quite a few updates, and still no one listening to all of us who are missing this previously-useful feature! Taking a screenshot in NO way is anywhere near as useful as the ability to save a page, which thankfully still is available in the desktop version of FF, so why eliminate it? Is anyone at FF listening? It's not as if we want a new feature; this one was always implemented, so just bring it back, please!

Am not seeing clear reasoning why save ad pdf and implemtation of a simple bookmark editor have not been restored to FF Android, while known major security holes by allowing developer tools persist. We first warned of the ease of hijacking the browser by running duplicate hidden browser tabs using xda tools in 2017 and again in 2019.

By comparison, save as pdf and bookmark editor extensions are relatively benign security risks running on ubuntu and linux kernals for android phones that are inherently at greater risk for json hidden hacks of web browsers (Opera and Chrome as particularly vulnerable).
