Hi all Since I installed FF 70.0 there are no more titles in the title bar. I looked in the Preferences and found nothing. I am running OS X 10.9.5 Mavericks. TIA for your help. Nick

Are you possibly using a userChrome.css file in the chrome folder in the profile folder?

I have this same no text in title bar on macosx 10.9 problem too. Thanks for suggestion, what should be done about the userChrome.css file I do have in my profile folder? Thanks

Click on the hamburger menu button (the last button on the right in the toolbar). The main menu will appear. Click on Customize. The Customize mode will be enabled. At the bottom, find and enable the check box Title bar.

This solution was the first that was suggested (in the second post) but it doesn't address the issue which is not the absence of title bars but the absence of title in the title bars. Nick

Not only is the title bar only showing the Firefox logo on the left - NOTHING ELSE IS VISIBLE, INCLUDING THE REST OF THE TITLE BAR. Ever since my last update to v70+, THERE IS NO TITLE, THE STANDARD WINDOWS CONTROL BUTTONS ARE NOT VISIBLE (YOU HAVE TO GUESS WHERE THE CLOSE BUTTON, AND THE OTHERS MIGHT BE).

The most common answer given here in the forums, is to use the "Customize" choice - THE CHECKBOX FOR THE TITLE BAR DOES ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

PLEASE DIRECT US TO A REAL FIX.

BTW, FIREFOX IS THE ONLY PROGRAM ON MY PC THAT HAS THIS PROBLEM WHICH WAS BROKEN WITH THE 70+ VERSIONS.

I'm using a Mac running Catalina and FFv70 and have the same problem people seem to be saying here. I did notice, however, that all the old entries of the title bar (File, View, History, Help, etc.) appear if Firefox is open but no windows are open. As soon as you open a window in the browser all these entries disappear leaving only the "Firefox" at the far left of the title bar. This has to be a bug as most of these commands are useless without an open window to reference.

I had the same problem after upgrading the MacOS to Catalina 10.15. So I downgraded to FF73 and the problem is solved! No more missing title bar menus or right click blank menus :) I hope they will update this soon.

MacOSX10.9 with Firefox 74 still no title bar, and transparent options menu. Also, paypal hangs and does not complete transactions, so I have switched to Chrome. These sorts of bugs needs fixing or people will stop using FF.
