How do I permanently change order/organise bookmarks on the DROP DOWN list please? Your advice https://support.mozilla is not true to my experience.

Bookmarks simply refuse to do what you say and move into the order I want permanently. And yes I have tried every which way with your "Show all bookmarks" "Library" etc dialogue boxes.

Which drop down are you referring to? There are several potential ones.

If you're clicking a button, what does the text say if you don't click it but just hover over it?

Alternately, please could you attach a screenshot or picture of the button/drop down?
