I was searching for some specific medical supplies, and can't remember which sites I've been to. Need to go back to one of them, but can't remember which one it was.

Is there somewhere in the Firefox/Mozilla settings that allow me to decide to keep these sites, and how many and/or for how long?

Tks

Hi bluekat, Firefox generally keeps a list under History for regular (non-private) windows.

You can view history in several places, including:

  • Sidebar: Ctrl+h
  • Library window: Ctrl+Shift+h

There's no way to guarantee that a history entry will be saved, so you may want to bookmark a valuable page for future reference. See: Bookmarks in Firefox.

Firefox eventually deletes old history to make space for new as the database fills up. I don't think there is a built-in way to control what gets weeded out, but there might be an add-on that can do it automatically for you.

Note that you can do a copy and paste of selected history items in the Library to a bookmarks folder.
