I'm getting some really strange display issues with the Noto Color Emoji font on Firefox. The emoji is displayed with text overlaid on it. I can't use the Twemoji SVGinOT package because it breaks emoji display on my Linux distribution. My distro is Xubnutu 18.10. And I'm using the latest stable version of Firefox.
