How can give location permission to a website
It would be easier to upload screenshots but after 5 minutes of the "working circle" go round I am thinking it does work.
I have a problem Two parts:
1. when go the Permission (by click the (i) preceding the site address it takes me to the Privacy and Security Page. Under Permisssion I find location and click settings. There are no sites listed and it will not allow me to search for a site. How do I find what is preventing or how can I prevent websites knowing or not knowing my location? Is there a global local setting I can not find? Previous searchable questions have incomplete answers or I not getting it.
1. A webite I use is failing gps location connection. I can not find way to see or change permission in Firefox mobile. How does one enable/disalbe Location and or allow GPS service? I don't have this probblem with Chrome or Edge so it is not the site. If it related to part 1, then I have just the one question.

Oh I just figured it out. I needed to access permissions through Android Settings>Apps>Firefox>App Info- Changed- Set as default>to Firefox (was on Chrome again) Changed - Browser App> FireFox Chrome for some reason Checked - Notifications Setting> Ok Changed -App Permissions>Location>On
Now it seems to be working fine. I was able to follow the bread crumbs using your Part answer, by running the mobile website version on the desktop and see what settings showed up.

Hi semies, let me see whether I can answer those.
For #1, if a site wants to request your precise location, it usually will send Firefox a request and that will trigger a panel to drop-down from the left end of the address bar. I have attached an example showing the panel that appears after clicking "Find me" on https://weather.com/
Do you get that if you try the site? (You don't have to approve, it's just to make sure the mechanism is working.)
Different sites may have a different approach to that. If you want to pre-approve a particular site, you can try the Permissions panel of the Page Info dialog. While you are on the site, you can call that up using any of these:
- right-click a blank area of the page and choose View Page Info > Permissions
- (menu bar) Tools menu > Page Info > Permissions
- click the padlock or "i" icon to the left of the site address, then the ">" icon, then More Information > Permissions
Near the top, you'll find "Access Your Location" and you can uncheck the "Use default" box and select the permission you prefer, in this case, "Allow".
Does that make any difference?
For #2, which mobile browser is it: Firefox for Android, Firefox Focus for Android, Firefox for iOS, or Firefox Focus for iOS?

Part 2 - I am using Firefox for Android, Samsung Exp 9.5,Android ver 8.1.0, It works in Chrome but not Firefox.
