Has this been done to make search useless on purpose? Because it is assumed users are stupid? Very annoying.

Could you be a bit more specific about "OR"  ?

The only thing that comes to mind is "Operational Research" ....

Maybe you could provide a screenshot  ?

If you need help to create a screenshot, please see :

Seperate issue :

Your system details show that you need to update your Adobe Flash Player - you're running an old version, which can cause problems. Would you please uninstall your current version and install the latest version, which is 31.0.0.108

Hello,

Well, I let myself go with irritation with this (and other) search engine. Sorry about that!

A default of OR or AND for terms in the search field is OK I suppose, but it seems to me the standard default should be AND.

In my case I was searching for info on an error message involving SQLite. I got 26 hits. So I added "installation" to my query and got 1974 hits. Not very helpful.

Regards

And here I was thinking that your default search engine might have been taken over by some "OR" page .....

You mentioned "being stupid" - that would apply to me, cause I honestly haven't a clue what you mean by "Or" and "And" ..... (even though there is a nuance between the two).

I don't know which search engine(s) you use - maybe you could "have a talk" with their support  ?
