Why doesn't using "page info" to change permissions save the settings for that website? I have to redo the permissions every time I go to the website.
I need to be able to count on these settings to stay the way I set them. This is for a website I use every day, multiple times per day. I should be able to save the changes so they remain from session to session.

What is it you wanted to change?
Hello Fred McD,
I open "view page info" and click on permissions to toggle the settings to "block" for: -Override keyboard shortcuts -Share the screen -Store data in persistent storage
I uncheck the box that says "use default", click on the radio button for "block" and then X out to close the page info window and use the website.
If I close the browser page and then navigate back to it later, I have to reset the permissions every single time (they go back to the default settings).
How can I permanently save these settings so they stay blocked?
Did you close the browser after making the changes, and when you restarted the changes were gone?

Note: Some software, like Advanced SystemCare with Surfing Protection, can protect files in the Firefox profile folder against changes. If you have such software then check the settings or uninstall this software.
In case you use "Clear history when Firefox closes" or otherwise clear history.
- do not clear the Site Preferences
- Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security
Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history":
[X] "Clear history when Firefox closes" -> Settings - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/delete-browsing-search-download-history-firefox
- clearing "Site Preferences" clears exceptions for cookies, images, pop-up windows, and software installation and exception for password and other website specific data
- clearing "Cookies" will remove all selected cookies including cookies with an "Allow" exception you may want to keep
