This error is not due to any version of Mozilla Firefox or Firefox for short. Mozilla is the company in this case.

cor-el stated the certificate is due to your Kaspersky applications like Antivirus or Internet Security. Some antivirus software in their attempt to keep you safe will insert their own certificates which then cause errors like this because the certificate is not trusted. This sort of feature in the antivirus and such security software should be disabled by default as it causes problems like this.

Uncheck the Do not scan encrypted connections.

The issuer of the certificate is your Kaspersky security software.

Subject C=US, ST=California, L=Mountain View, O=Google LLC, CN=www.google.com
Issuer O=AO Kaspersky Lab, CN=Kaspersky Web Anti-Virus Certification Authority

It will not allow me to get past GOOGLE.

Mozilla is worthless to me as I can't get on the internet using it as my Browser.

Someone needs to fix this or I WILl BE FORCED to Trash Mozilla and never use it again. Perhaps you do not know it's UNUSABLE.

I will have been given NO RECOURSE, because if I get an error message and it I go no where, what good is your Browser to me?

Even the APPLE Tech Service couldn't find away to fix it or around it. The PROBLEM is MOZILLA and I need a FIX Please.

I USE MAC Mac Book Air and it is Mozilla. I provided the scree shot and there is NOTHING we can do.

We, Apple Tech Support and I spent almost 3 full hours and it's MOZILLA, since it's, its certificate.

It's a problem with Google, Yahoo, Apple.

I had to, which I am using now, MY SAFARI, because there is no such thing as FIREFOX, interfacing with the 3 main websites above.

NO WORRIES, Mozilla is now History and Amen for Safari

So you did not bother to look at the links and what was said and have assumed that this must be a problem with Firefox itself?

Use Safari to look at those links if you cannot view them in Firefox currently.

Mozilla is the company that makes Mozilla Firefox or the short name everybody uses is Firefox.

Thanks James we looked yesterday. I am not stupid thanks and I am all to familiar with Mozilla/Firefox and it's platform. I have used it for years. Not a newbie - FOR YEARS.

I am telling you: You originally made a blanket statement, because it's just the blah blah blah of a reply. said I was using a MAC, yet you said I was using windows.

You give me links, which we already with through APPLE's SENIOR TECHS 2 of them.

But God forbid you acknowledge there is a flaw and a problem. Of course there would never be a problem with Mozilla/Firefox. No worries.

I was having an issue with Firefox, so I decided to reload it. I decided based on a number of things including VIRUS SWEEPS, of which there were none, to clean up Firefox and start all over again.

IT DOESN'T WORK! When I had it before it worked, but had some issues. BUT NOW IT DOESN'T WORK AT ALL.

So don't address the issue, don't try to help someone who has used your Browser for years and even the Senior Techs couldn't figure out.

No worries it speaks volumes about Mozilla

You can contact Kaspersky for support since this is a feature added by their program. Kaspersky might be adding its root certificate to the Mac Keychain, but Firefox uses its own certificate store.
