profile missing
i CAN'T use firefox, everytime i open it, a popup comes out says "Profile might be missing" or something like that, the standard phrase everybody apparently is getting on OSX. I already installed, uninstalled like 5 times, already checked for the profile.ini, but i dont have any in my application folder. I already installed the profile manager but i doesnt work. I just seems to be unable to pass the alert: cant open, cant close it, can do anything but look online. A lot of people is having the same problem, i tried everything but still no luck Please help, this is utterly ridiculous: i cant afford buying a PC just to test on FF.

Sorry to hear that, try this fix- How to run Firefox when your profile is missing or inaccessible
I already did, numerous times: - Profile wasnt moved or renamed, it is not there. - Profile Manager doestn work: it opens the same alert with the same message and quits.
I have to create a new one, i believe. But: - PROFILE MANAGER DOESNT WORK. - Whenever i start FF, i new profile is NOT created, as pointed out in the link you sent me.
I honestly dont know what else to do
Hope this helps Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode
holding option while opening doesnt do anything, still the same message. i cant open it, so i am not able to reach the menu. I already tried everything i found in the FF forum
Did you try the "method #2" of deleting the profiles.ini file? When Firefox is telling you it can't find a specific profile, it usually is looking for that profile based on the contents of the profiles.ini file.
The other scenario would be if you used a custom command line to start Firefox where you named the specific profile you were looking for. When I look at your error message --

-- it makes me wonder whether there might be a typo in your command line. Could you try just this in Terminal:
/Applications/Firefox.app/Contents/MacOS/firefox-bin -P
with no additional text. What happens then?
Hello jscher2000, attached you can find what happen when i type the terminale string. As for the profile.ini, i cant find it, there isnothing in the profile folder.
Thank you for the terminal screenshot. When I search for "error access was denied while trying to open files in your profile directory" macos on Google, these references come up. In every case, the solution was to repair MacOS user permissions:
