Firefox only initializes in half width size of the computer screen.
This may be coincidence but I just added several Firefox tweaks listed at privacytools.io None of them seem like they could have any affect on this but ...
Now when I initialize FF it appears full height but only half the width of my screen.
So I pull it over to full width, close it, re-initialize, and it's still half width.
Rebooted, no change.

If you are not sure what caused this, remove what you did before. You can check with Privacytools support.
BTW, were the changes made to Firefox, or your system?

Refreshing Firefox -- easily fix most problems

It's hard to understand how any of those could affect the browser size. But something has done so.

There is no real support per se.
I've asked questions in their Reddit and sometimes a poster will respond. No one who has identified themself as Privacytools has responded.
Have you tried restoring those settings to their default values?
If you enable resist fingerprinting the your user agent changes to Firefox 52 (esr). Also the window dimensions reported to websites change to some generic values.
You can check this preference on the about:config page and make sure it has the default value.

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I accept the risk!" to continue.
You can rename/remove xulstore.json and if present delete localstore.rdf in the Firefox profile folder with Firefox closed.
You can use the button on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page.
