I have a website that I access normally once a month which is related to my retirement administration. From within that website, I would normally open an available popup window that provides me the information of a particular retirement document I would print out. Many months ago, my ability to scroll around this vital popup page stopped working which prevents me from getting to the bottom of the page where I would find the "print" and "close" button. Firefox used to allow me to scroll around this popup page using the mouse wheel or the keyboard arrow keys. Neither of these work anymore. I have tried disabling the popup blocker in settings but this makes no difference. If I open this website from within the Microsoft Edge browser, the requested popup window scrolls without any problems! Obviously, the issue is something recent having to do with Firefox which is my default browser. (Sorry... I cannot provide any screenshots for personal security reasons.) Any suggestions?

Two other workarounds come to mind:

(1) Can you use the regular keyboard shortcuts Ctrl+P for print and Ctrl+w for close window in lieu of the buttons?

(2) Try clicking in the address bar of the pop-up window and pressing Alt+Enter to reload the page in a new window or tab. Does that work?

(Since you only need to print, this shouldn't break anything. If it were a form that fed information back to the "parent" page that launched it, this could break that functionality.)

If those don't help, I suggest complaining to the site and, until some other safe solution appears, using a different browser for that pop-up. While there are many ways to modify web pages with scripts and custom style rules, since this is a financial administration page, I'm reluctant to suggest hacking it. (I might do it myself, but I'm not going to promote it online.)

Can you maximize the popup if you double-click on the title bar?

You could try temporarily enabling "caret browsing" which inserts the cursor into the page and may allow down arrow to work by moving the cursor to content lower on the page. The F7 function key turns caret browsing on and off.

Yes, I can maximize the page by double clicking on the title bar but still no scrolling. I initiated "caret browsing" and can make the cursor appear in the body of the popup that initially opens but it still does not allow me to scroll around the page. So, no solution through your recommendations evident.

Thank you so much, jscher2000. Both of your most recent suggestions work to perfection! I had completely forgotten about trying Ctrl+P and Ctrl+w to control what I was looking to do. Those two commands work great. As for the Alt+Enter, that works to the degree that a new window loads that allows me to fully cursor around the page and make use of the "Print" button. It does, however, stop the functionality of the "Close" button. That is not a problem as I can always close it by the "X" above the address bar. I appreciate your help. I couldn't come up with any solution other than switching to Microsoft Edge for this particular activity. Many thanks.
