Can't install, error message Firefox : 57.0.1 64-bit edition Win 10 x64 Creator Update

First, i tried to ran firefox installer but then a window appear asking for my admin password. But the thing is i didn't even setup a single password on my PC. I put in a blank password, then clicked ok but nothing happened.

So next, i tried to run firefox installer as administrator (right-click), it worked but then i got an error message during installation process. https://s7.postimg.org/eufwcpe5n/firefox.png

Then i tried to re-download the installer, but the problem is still persist !. Is this how mozilla want to grow their user base ?, just trying to install firefox is enough to give me a headache.

UPDATE 10 DECEMBER 2017 : Tried the new 57.0.2 just now, still failed to install though. I guess i stick with chrome for now, until mozilla managed to fix this bug. I uploaded a video to youtube, i hope it help identifying the problem. Here the video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VifXF8t9wSc

You say you have 64-bit Windows 10 yet your Firefox useragent is showing as Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:52.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/52.0

Either you are running Firefox in Windows XP compatibility mode or you have enabled the privacy.resistFingerprinting preference to true in about:config

Firefox does not ask for passwords. Are you running the account as a Admin or have Admin rights ? A right click and Run as Administrator would have worked I think.

Next time you post in the future please think about turning on in Firefox; send info to Mozilla, it would be a great help.

Just to make sure : Please use more than 1 scanner as each uses diff tech : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-caused-malware Save your Report and google each before deleting anything as do not want to delete something you need, If need help : https://forums.malwarebytes.com/topic/9573-im-infected-what-do-i-do-now/ Post in only 1 forum, then wait.

If you have any previous installs on Firefox please follow this : Please uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files and C:\Program Files(x86) (if x86 applies.) Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. But you should make a back up before you do : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/back-and-restore-information-firefox-profiles

Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 57.0.1 with a Full Version Installer https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

So what happened with the suggestion I made ? Did you follow it ? You did not mention it ? Nor if still having the issue.
