FF 55.0.3 doesn't offer option "Preview in Firefox" for PDFs
Hello, since some time ago, whenever I click a pdf file, Firefox asks me to download it, instead of previewing it. I am now at 55.0.3 but this happens already since v 53 at least. I went to Tools > Options > Applications and under Portable Data Format, there is not option anymore for FF to preview pdfs. Any help most welcome. Thanks.

Have you tried scrolling down to 'Portable Document Format (PDF)' ?
That should give you the option 'Preview in Firefox'

type "about:config" in your URL bar and find the entry "pdfjs.disabled" and toggle it to "False" restart and retry.
Thank you for your help and sorry for the late reply, I did as suggested but nothing has changed. There is no "Preview in firefox" and it keeps prompting for saving pdfs.

Absolutely no need to be embarrassed ! You saw 'PDF' and thought that was it. Makes perfect sense.
