When importing mbox file I received the following error: Impossibile to import in this folder (imap or newsgroup type)
Addon installed but when Im clicking import mbox gives the error «impossibile to import in this folder (imap or newsgroup type)»

Right-click Local Folders, ImportExportTools/Import mbox file.

You may also find this useful in case you need to [import MBOX files to Thunderbird], bring it on the same or different platform. This blog helped me to import all my MBOX to Thunderbird.
