You refresed my internet connections via your promt but everything's changed!!!!!!!!!!!
You prompted me to speed up my internet access. So I followed your prompts and hit the REFRESH BUTTON, the blue one on the top right side. They it started doing it's thing. Then when it was finished, every familiar page was gone! I hit the Home Page icon and got MOZILLA. It looks like you defaulted me to Yahoo search engine? WHAT? My operating system is 17 years old, Windows XP. The computer has been terribly slow lately. I let Avast do a clean sweep. Then today, my computer was totally screwed up. I quickly deleted the TWO Avast "programs" they installed. It was slow, but working OK until I let you REFRESH my computer. SO, WHAT HAPPENED? I WANT MY REGULAR HOME PAGE BACK! I don't want Yahoo, I use Google, but do not want Google as my default anything. I access Google via my bookmark. Don't want the Chrome thing. I'm old. I don't want my life anymore complicated that it already is. Please fix this!!!!!

Sure, that is what the Refresh does. It resets all userset preferences to their default values.

Look on your desktop. Do you see a folder called; Old Firefox?
