I am a n00b. iPhone 1 - 5 (2006 till Present). Saw the light. Want to leave my walled garden and get a Firefox OS phone.

Live in the United States. I read that a FF OS phone will be coming out in 2016. Is this accurate?

Where can I get the most up to date information about anticipated timelines.
