I updated plug ins and it's been running for 3 hours. What now?
I have been unable to watch any videos on my laptop. I have windows. I clicked on update my plugins and it's been running for 3 hours. I even logged off and then when I restarted the "keep your firefox healthy" page came right up and the update plugins is still "twirling". HELP

in general only outdated versions of flash need to be activated, so please install the update through https://www.mozilla.org/plugincheck/
if you have any problems with that, try the offline installers offered by adobe at https://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html instead (for firefox download & install the windows exe-file for "plugin-based browsers").

hi shelleym1953, please see if you can resolve the problem on the plugin-check page when you go to the firefox menu ≡ > addons > plugins & set the "java deployment toolkit" to never activate and then reload the page?
The twirling stopped but I still cant watch videos. It says Adobe flash needs to be activated. the last time I did this it caused the problem. Can I try again?
