I believe I downloaded that blinkiland search engine from a a Firefox install. I now have Avast anti virus. they had a good deal on the premium for a year. did not know about defender,since it was in the background. hope this is the end of this mess. this is a similar problem with my old win 7 computer.but that was much worse!
