On Windows 11 - I keep getting logged out of Firefox after I close down. Then, when I enter my password to log in I get two emails with the same code and then two log in screens and duplicate emails to confirm login. I can only see one profile set up. I have not got automatic removal of history etc set. This does not happen on my Android devices. Any advice please as is getting more than frustrating!

However, on the same computer, if I open my yahoo email account using" Microsoft Edge", I am never asked for a 2 step verification. A phone call with Yahoo tech support stated the problem is with my "Firefox" settings. I was testing a new website for a developer. I wanted to see if DNS worked correctly on various browsers. I downloaded Firefox and the test was OK. However, something happened with Yahoo and Facebook, apparently those sites think I am on another device. Where I have to log in, something with second level authentication was off, after several attempts I am now locked out. I suspect a Firefox setting is the problem. Suggestions on how to reset firefox?

I am leery about using it as Mozilla does not monitor it. It gets mostly good reviews but people complain about stability. I will just use it once to get into my account. Of a sudden, Moz VPN needed a log in. I managed to get in by submitting a new PW, and was sent a phonbe text for the 2nd verification. Now, I still can't log into my year old VPN account on what must be a VPN upgrade or something, without having an Authenticator App. For Windows 11? I think I may know what a key is, but all I know for certain is I'm lost an having to try to find another VPN until somebody or some AI can get me into my Mozilla VPN again. Thanks.

I was randomly signed out of FireFox this morning. When trying to sign back in, it asked for the 6 digit code from my authenticator app. I looked on every authenticator app I have and don't see a mozilla or firefox account. I only have 4 backup authenticator codes left. How do I find the code in the authenticator app and which app would it be? Also, How do I get more backup codes? If I am unable to sign in to FireFox in the future because I don't have the correct authenticator app or enough backup codes, it would be painfully devastating for myself and my work. I don't want to ever be in that situation. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I noted what MFA is not working, on my both accounts. it was my early guess also since last year but i fought it was my problem. No after resetting and getting notification what password is not correct makes me guess something is off. i might be wrong but looks like internal problem, maybe a breach what no one knows. what can i say from my side, as an IT company director and IT person. i can exclude all my thoughts about my side, since i changed and reinstalled everything on my devies. got fresh OS and hardened every device. problem still exists. maybe someone could check my accounts and internal settings for firefox security on accounts and MFA. since codes are not valid. had to disable mfa on my both accounts.

Since yesterday I cannot log in to my hotmail accounts via Mozilla. It keeps coming up with the message "Please retry with a different device or other authentication method to sign in". I select sending a code to an email to try a different way but it doesn't even send the code either so I simply cannot log in
I can log in via Microoft Edge so the issue appears to be with Mozilla but I have no idea what has happened or how to fix it
I love Mozilla so do not want to be forced to use Microsoft Edge :-(

About two years ago, I created an account on Mozilla, and by then I'd already set up two-step authentication using the app's Authenticator. But then I had to reset Windows and lost my backup keys and other stuff. Soon after, I experimented with other browsers and forgot about Firefox (I also deleted the Firefox profile in the Authenticator app). Now I've decided to log into my account, but since I can't log in without the app, I figured there's an option to log in using the email linked to the account (I have access to it), but for some reason, they're asking me for an account recovery key. So, I know my email address and have the password for it, but I can't log into my account without the Authenticator app. To try this alternative, I need to know the account recovery key, but I've lost it too. So, I'd be very grateful if anyone knows a solution to this problem. For reference, I also logged out of my Mozilla account on other devices and I haven't received any emails related to this situation (like checking email, etc.).

I cannot log in to iCloud.com, even after setting a popup block exception. When I click on the "go" arrow after entering password, I get a notice on my iPhone to allow access. After I approve, I get a 6-digit verification code on the iPhone. But no popup window appears on the Firefox tab, so I can enter the code. Any suggestions?
