How do I (automatically) remove Tab Groups from "Recent Tab Groups" history?

One of the more particular habits I have retained after switching from Chrome to Firefox is putting things in Tab Groups. This works great on Chrome as groups are more-or-less visual, and don't make a mess once you've closed them. On Firefox, however, I've noticed one really annoying thing: tab groups are saved in a giant list. Part of my workflow results in making Tab Groups with the same name as some of my bookmarks. When using the address bar to go to the bookmark will result in the tab group of the same name being brought up. For various purposes, this is decidedly unhelpful. In addition, when using the "Recent Tab Groups" drop down, it is rather annoying to see an entire screen's worth of tab groups being saved, especially when they all have the same(ish) name.

Is there a way to disable this saving of tab group names (and contents)? Clearing it out manually gets very annoying.

This is a followup to a previous post. I pinned a tab in firefox, and later deleted the webpage that was pinnned. I do not see a way to edit the pin, so I deleted it and created a new one with the new, updated webpage. I use the sync feature to keep all of my browser settings the same across three computers. I have tried multiple approaches to correct the problem. 1. turned off the sync and manually unpinned the tab, cleared the cache and browser history, checked to be sure I do not have the option to reload previous tabs turned on, booted in the mode that does not load any plugins, rebooted the computers 2. with sync turned off, after all of those steps, I opened the new page and pinned it on each computer. when I close the browser and reopen it on any computer, the original pinned tab returns. Turning the sync back on or re-enabling the option to sync tabs and history have no effect.

Is there a way, even if it´s within the configuration files, to change that pinned tab or block the old one from opening? Note that the website for the old and the new pinned tab is the same. the difference is the page itself. the old tab was [website].administration-landing. the new page is [website].admin-lp.

The is no reason why the old page, which no longer exists, continues to be pinned in the browser, but I can´t get rid of it.

Please help. Thanks.

Tab groups disappear when window closes, another group adds all the closed group's tabs. This is stupid. When I restart Firefox, or it decides to close, or restart, or whatever, if I have more than one tab group in the window, all the following groups disappear. And then they are added to the remaining group. So then I need to remove them from that group and put them back in the original . This is ridiculous. Why don't all groups remain in the same window with all their tabs intact and not redistributed?

I had multiple tab groups which I had chosen to save and close. These tab groups have now completely disappeared and I cannot find them. When I began using Tab Groups, I had checked and there was no information stating that unopened tab groups would be deleted. I want these groups back. If I had known Tab Groups would disappear, I would have saved my tabs into a folder. The only Tab Groups that show up now are under "Recent tab groups". If tab groups are going to be deleted after a set period of time, it should be stated clearly in the tab group settings. It would also be really useful to archive them into a bookmarked folder so people don't unexpectedly lose hours of research.
