Hello, I am a bit concerned, as Firefox never before acted this way. Has this been reported? 0. Few weeks ago computer froze, after restart, bookmarks that I had made new had disappeared and old ones appeared, as if firefox reversed to previous saved setting from hour before freezing of computer.

Now, the main ones that have been happening during last week: 1. Firefox randomly downloaded (twice during last week) some random file with random letters, for example " H3jO5Ni4m.htm". It was always one file, that was a ".htm" file, and it had 0 bites. I uploaded the file to virustotal and it brought me to this: https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/e3b0c44298fc1c149afbf4c8996fb92427ae41e4649b934ca495991b7852b855/detection

I then googled about this specific problem with Firefox downloading a 0 byte .htm file, and it has been happening to people for last 6 months, not many cases, but some, still. Peoples comments implied that this is harmless and that it is a bug of Firefox.

2. Firefox today, about half an hour ago logged me out of most websites, not all, but most. Firefox never ever behaved this way and it happens only to Firefox, not any other browser that I own.

During last week I scanned my computer in both normal and safe mode with: Eset Online Scanner (a one time useantivirus program), Avast, Roguekiller, Malwarebytes, Mbar (Malwarebytes anti malware), and never found anything. I consider these programs most reliable, and have been using them for years.

Is it a bug of this specific version of Firefox please? I have version 105.0.1 (64-bit) and problem 1 and 2 happened since then I think.

Hey friends,

I'm experiencing an issue with Firefox only (Edge and Chrome are fine) with a specific site/certificate and was hoping someone had some advice.

The site in question is github.ourcompany.com, which has a certificate issued with the following:

Subject Common Name: *.github.ourcompany.com

And the following Subject Alt Names: DNS: *.github.ourcompany.com DNS: *.github DNS: github.ourcompany.com DNS: github IP: 10.x.x.x

When I browse to https://github.ourcompany.com, I get a SSL_ERROR_BAD_CERT_DOMAIN message, even though github.ourcompany.com is a valid SAN. I'm wondering if this is to do with validation rules regarding wildcard SANs, or perhaps the order of the SANs. Has anyone seen this before?

Hello,

In the last week, I have noticed an error message on a site that I usually log onto, and am unable to do so which looks like this: Secure Connection Failed An error occurred during a connection to www.plus.net. PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified. Please contact the web site owners to inform them of this problem. I have contacted the web site owners, and they have said it is my browser as the site is working correctly.

The second issue is that I am able to log onto my gumtree homepage, but unable to access my account due to the following: I have checked my Firefox browser and it is running the latest version 105.0.1 I have noted that on the bottom left of the page when trying to access my messages or manage my ads the following is happening but times out after 15 seconds: Unable to perform tls handshake to sa.gumtree

Gumtree have said this is a browser issue, so that is why I am contacting you for assistance.

I look forward to hearing from you, at your earliest convenience.

Best regards, Arvin Kumar

Hello -

Is there a way to see all History (browsing and anything else you accessed via FF) since it was last cleared?

When I click on 'History -> Manage' I get a window called Library and can only see Today, Yesterday and Last 7 Days. Is that it? I am certainly no computer expert-- still using Win 7 which does everything I need. But I am going on my observations; and from the last 30 min reading people's issues wth accessing history, it seems that Firefox has gone backweards in this area. As there used to be a way to access 'All History'

Chrome has an excellent History setup - it retains all history since it was last cleared, and which I have often used to my great delight. Could go back many months.

Can FF only access the last 7 days of History?

Thanks

PS, I tried clicking on Share Data for this post but it says it cannot access it. Then I tried clicking on the link that it suggested but I went to it and not only lost all my typing (this is the second attempt) but I don't have a fault as that page may suggest. My FF, which is the lastest one, seems to be working normally, it's just the limited History I have an issue with. And the reason for this Post. Thanks

How to BLOCK systemtimezone detection in Firefox? Can this be done with firefox or with the operatingsystem itself? After all i know for a fact that the bromite android browser has this feature and it works. I noticed that disabling javascript blocks systemtimedetection, but it also basically renders the browsers useless for my purposes.. are there specific javascript config settings regarding systemtimezone detection? I really feel that when a website spys on my systemtimezone this is a breach of privacy as this goes beyond the browsers im using to view the website but instead directly access information about my system, im not ok with that... Using a virtualmachine just to fake systemtimezone cannot be the solution, this is ridiculous.

By the way, i hope Mozilla won't let down support for Manivest v2 ever, there is a chance firefox will gain a boost in users after google pushing Manivest v3 that hard... making adblock useless, what a shame.
