Thunderbird 78.2.2

I have updated the 78.2.2 version and deeply upset having done so :( i have been using this mailing system 24/7 being my bread and butter but seen a lot of defaults on this version.
firstly in my address book the lists that contain lots of recipients <<search is not working>> and when i scroll up or down the pointer the <screen>> goes snow white !!!!
secondly i used to drag and drop an existing contact from my address book into my several lists this is not longer working , i get the stop signal and i have to do it now manually.
thirdly when a sender was not existing in my address book i used to open up a new contact with his details, and particularly his mail address. then on the incoming mail screen the name of sender that i have had added in my book was by default changed and appeared in the correspondence column. now this is not happing longer :(
guys i love thunderbird and i cannot live with anything else have done so much work on it.
is there going to be a new release that will fix all those bugs ?? i am sure there are more to be discovered

I have updated the 78.2.2 version
TB 78.3.1 is out now, so first try that.
If that makes no difference try to start Thunderbird in safe mode. https://support.mozilla.org/kb/safe-mode-thunderbird
Is there any change?
i have updated to 78.2.2. but unfortunately nothing happens
i have also tried the safe mode thing but again this did not work :(
none of my 3 pointed items above have remedied
IN BETWEEN I HAVE UPDATED TO 78.3.1 but it is not working !
For the 2nd issue, it's a known bug. Workaround: hold Ctrl when you drag and drop to a mailing list. For the 3rd, do you have 'Show only display name...' checked in Options/General/Reading & Display? If you do, it might help to right-click the folder, Properties, Repair Folder.
Great ! my 2nd .. is resolved with the ctrl as you suggested its pretty fine
for the 3rd issue the relevant box in the show display name is ticked in the reading & display pane
i am trying to figure out where the properties button is so that i can follow your suggestion repair folder is

Right-click the folder in the Folder Pane, on the left, select Properties in the context menu, click the Repair Folder button.
Check that your contacts have the name in the Display box when the contact is opened in Address Book, as sometimes it's empty after being imported from another program.
For the first issue, run in safe mode (hold Shift when launching TB) and see if the display is correct for the search.
so i did the repair.
i have also checked that a contact has the name in the dislay box (also ticked on address card "always prefer display name over the message header"
but it is still not properly shown :(
ps. for the first issue i have tried it yesterday on safe mode but also not working
let me give you a hint here that i have just noticed
so when I make a new contact card with all the details with an email address of course when a new mail arrives the display name is not shown over the mail list despite that it exists on the by address book.
but what happens is
when i receive again an email from the same sender in that second time it is shown correctly.

78.4.0 will be out next week. If it still fails in that version, please post a screen shot of what you are seeing.
