Hi there I reset my pc I know my username and password to my login here but not letting me sign into gmail (given I might have used Firefox's password generator thingy and I can't login and I've got my important websites signed into that login, thoughts on how to reset my password?. I want that one as I've spent £££ on Patreon and that and building my custom Firefox account :(

I have used Firefox for years as my main browser and have my gmail on both iPad and iPhone come up without having to sign in each time. Now on my iPad, Google gives me a message that my browser may be insecure and I have to sign in each time which is highly inconvenient and irritating. Each time, Google asks to switch my browser to Chrome. Can you tell me what is going on? Thanks -

I downloaded upgrade Firefox. I clicked replace. The new version was not compatible with my operative system. I then uninstalled Firefox with Clean my Mac. Too fast.

Now I have upgraded my operative system and have the newest Firefox. It works but I have lost all my bookmarks, website history, data, cookies - everything that makes it easy. Biggest problem is some lost passwords that only my old Firefox remembers..

Is it possible to restore this somehow? Please say yes and describe me how!

So basically I reset my laptop as it wasn't updating to the latest Windows 11 (22H2) and I forgotten I changed my password on gmail 42 days ago with a Firefox password generator and I don't know my recovery password as I've got a few e:mail accounts with G:mail (I think should limit on how many gmail accounts have per person :D) anyways anyone got any thoughts as my Patreon and other websites are on there and everytime I try and sign in to them it sends a password to my thefmveteran86 account but can't access it

Just lately I have been finding that, for a few websites, they are unusable because the screen looks extremely blurred. I have attached a screenshot. Compare this with what you see at ba.com.

I am wondering if this is caused by a new secure feature of FF which is incompatible with these few sites. Really, any suggestions would be welcome. Otherwise I have to use Edge..

Hi, Since the latest update of my Firefox browser to 105.0.1 (64 bit) on my Mac with operating system 10.13.6 I'm getting messages as the enclosed picture. It appears on upper right corner when I open Firefox. It comes with a sound signal. It appears many times in one hour. How to get rid of that problem? I have another application, from Sophos, to protect from viruses and other attacs. Sophos say that there are no problems. My Mac is clean. Possible to sort out the problem, please?

The message in Swedish translated to English: "McAfee: Firewall crashes via musicinmysoul.biz TROJAN-virus detected. Click here..." McAfee is not installed in my Mac...

FredMcD made it clear that closing FF, navigating to 'Windows: C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>' and re-opening FF should reset the 'Cookies And Site Data' tab to 0KB.

  • Should the yellow 'Profiles' folder be deleted OR the file folder, with the series of letters and numbers that appear (when the 'Profiles' folder is clicked) be deleted?

Today the autofill feature for passwords / username stopped working on Protonmail login. Windows 10. Specifically the username option. I have two accounts and formerly could select which account. Now i have to enter the username manually, however the password tab still works for password autofill / selection. This is the only site I am having this issue with.

How can I uninstall the latest Firefox Update? My version is 105.01. When I right click on the file menu, there is a blank menu, except for the "Bookmarks Menu" is the only thing. Also, the side menu on the right side is useless. None of the commands show except for a couple keyboard shortcuts. I tried changing themes and also changed to the default theme with no luck.

I rely heavily on the menus so i would love to roll back/uninstall the update. Thank you. nottyn

GoSquare chat text area doesn't expand beyond single line

A website I use has support chat that uses gosquare. On my desktop Mac OS FF, it only shows single line of text area no matter how much text I type. My MacBook Air FF works fine (synced and therefore has the same extensions installed). Safari, Chrome, and Brave all shows it properly. It's only the desktop Mac FF that's showing this error.

I've been opening Safari whenever I need to contact support for a while, but it's very cumbersome as FF is my main browser and one that's open all the time.

Hardware acceleration is already off on both desktop and MacBook Air so that's not the issue.

I have no idea how to read the developer codes, but enabled developer tools out of curiosity in console mode. I see bunch of yellow boxes with error messages saying:

Loading failed for the <script> with source "https://data2.gosquared.com/......." and a long line of URL.

The same message appears to be repeating about 5 to 6 times.

What could be causing this error?

Just tried doing the same on the MacBook Air and it's showing the same yellow boxes so I'm not sure even if this is a symptom of the problem.

I'm stumped. If I must, I can use other browser for the support chat feature, but if someone could point me in the right direction to get this resolved, I'd very very grateful.
