For a couple of days now Instagram linked videos won't play here. Actually some of them will -- my own reels and anything linked with that button that looks like a movie 'clapper'. But videos that show the triangular arrow pointing to the right, nothing happens when you click. Not sure if this is a FF issue or maybe something changed at Instagram. Did a google search and nothing came up.

ATT is my internet service provider. I use their website as my home screen. Yesterday, I started getting an error message when I tried to go on-line. I have contacted ATT, and they have determined that the problem is with Firefox, and not their website. I can go from the ATT screen to any other website, and it works fine. This is the message that I get:

obviously some phishing or something. How can I get rid of it?

Below are two attached images, please take a look. From my understanding there are two different translation features built into firefox, you can identify them by looking at the attached screenshots. I very much dislike the translation features which has the "page icon". The other option which looks like an "alphabet icon" and has "EN" attached to it is very much welcome. I want to add this translation feature to the toolbar, however when i open up the "customize toolbar option" there is no translation feature available. How can i add it? I do remember that in previous firefox version, the translation feature was pinned to the very right of the bar.

Hi! Why I lost the customize button on my Firefox's home page? This happened after the last Firefox upgrade.

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

I want to know what should I change to change between these two appearances. I tried to change everything with `browser.search` in about:config, but I don't see anything that changed it.

My Firefox Updated today and just closed randomly, on reopen it was brand new with no history/bookmark etc. I didn't have a firefox account at the time. Is there a way to restore it since i used a lot of mozilla auto set passwords which have also been deleted.

The fucking forced dark mode has return despite the previous fix layout.css.prefers-color-scheme.content-override = 1 in about:config fixing it for years. This and the current replacement fixes don't save. I want a solution for PERMANENT light mode (black text on white background) for ALL menus, pop-ups, dropdown menus and hover over tab info.

And don't tell me to go search for a different theme I've already spent hours doing that and firefox has broken them only making some menus use the appropriate mode. On top of that I can't even pick an option to search for one that uses light mode I just have to go through each one and try it if I want to know which mode it uses that is NOT a solution to anything.

Replacement "fixes" for reference: ui.systemUsesDarkTheme won't even let me set to 0 only has true/false browser.theme.content-theme set to 1 browser.theme.toolbar-theme set to 1 (Why in the absolute hell these were added when a simple addition to preference setting wasn't is beyond me)

Very sorry for the aggressiveness but I am so very VERY tired of having to fight firefox on this preferance for years when their dark mode hurts my eyes.

Since the last update (was executed today in my case 16-07-2024), firefox has been very slow and freezing and crashing. Also, somehow it is the only browser that can't handle yahoo finance new charts and keeps freezing....so many issues in a short span of time, please check. I have tried other browsers and things seem to work fine there, so, it is not my computer or OS.

I know it may sound a bit strange, but I would like to know WHY an extension is not allowed in a private window, so I might understand the reason why I'm not able to diagnose an issue I'm having with fucking amazon who has their cart all over the place for a misconfiguration in firefox that either I did or an extension is causing, however I'm unable to figure out which because I can't enable extensions in private windows, where the issue does not happen, so I'm not able to reproduce and isolate the problem. When I scroll down the page on MSN and try to open a link in a new tab the page jumps back to the top. It then opens a link of another article that I never right/left click on. I have my mouse set up to left click to open a new tab. Does not occur on any other sites.

It has been doing this for months now.

I am having issues signing in to the playstation store using firefox. It works on edge (although I have the same issue in ungoogled chromium). I have tried refreshing but that didn't work. I uninstalled it and deleted all mozilla folders in appdata, then tried again without signing in to my mozilla account on a fresh install but i'm still having the issue. It might be a windows configuration issue because I don't see why this would work on edge but not on firefox. I've tried disabling all cookie and tracking protection features but I still have the same issue.

As of today and today only Firefox refuses to show my homepage like it's supposed to, and instead it only shows some strange webpage I have never seen before saying "Account not found".

I opened my website on Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Safari, and Firefox on my iPhone with zero issue. However, I have check Firefox for desktop on two different computers, and been shown the same page.

I have already cleared my cache, history and cookies. I also uninstalled Firefox and did a fresh install, only to have the same problem.

I'm just really confused what happened as this has never happened before. I got scared someone hijacked my website, but that wouldn't make sense since it's working on everything but Firefox on my desktop. I've just never seen this "Account not found" page before and this page has nothing to do with my website, domain, or hosting. My website and domain are all on Squarespace.
