I am having a problem with Firefox. Some websites do not load correctly and certain extensions do not work as expected.

I have already tried restarting Firefox and checking my internet connection, but the issue still happens.

Please advise how to fix this problem. Thank you.

I want to make list of sites where i can off pop-up search bar. On some sites you can use custom hot keys (like youtube), but hot keys won`t work because your keys registering to pop-up search bar instead site, so it will be good idea to make exclusion list, like in addon "Dark Reader".

I Have contacted NextDoor about this also, but in my original FF profile there was a login issue, after trying to reset my password, the NextDoor login screen comes up blank white. If I make another FF profile, It comes up with the NextDoor login screen, and if I start FF in troubleshooting mode NextDoor comes up and I can login. Any idea how to rectify this. I cleared cookies, cache and browser info, to no avail, even start up cache in the troubleshooting. Thank you for any help you may be able to provide. If I use extension 'Block Site' (shows up as a stop-sign shaped icon with a 'W' on it) to block a site, when I try to unblock it, it fails, with the below message:

"This operation cannot be performed in incognito mode. Please open the page in a regular browsing window and try again."

I am just clicking on the (whichever) site, from a search - not opening a private window... This extension used to work fine.

I did install DuckDuckGo browser, but removed it, as it was more trouble than it was worth. I would have to reboot my PC after each use before FireFox would connect.

I have a issue with a browser add-on There is a triangle icon with Len dau English: triangle icon - Go to Top I can not find any way to remove or I have know Idea how it was installed

what if this translation could be run a standalone tool, command, or you call an api to translate something locally?

then we would be able to translate documents, mail, .. maybe just in html and plain text (with or without markup) format

All of my FF extensions were once shown as icons in my FF address bar, but due to my failing vision I had to increase the text resolution and now they're gone. How do I get the extension icons back?

I've seen similar reports of this in the past. But I believe my case is different.

I had to reset a password tonight, requiring me to re-login to the account in Firefox. But, the tab/window would just freeze. I don't see anything immediately being blocked (ie: any DNS filter etc).

But, I CAN get it to work in Debugging mode, which suggests either there is an extension that is blocking it, or something else (some variable that is otherwise active in regular running Firefox). I just don't know which.

Has anyone else reported this and what might be the issue? I suspect uBlockOrigin (one), which I do use. But the other extensions I use are just for Youtube, IG, etc.

Weird issue I discovered today is that for whatever reason the LastPass addon in Mozilla Firefox keeps disappearing upon reopening the app and among different computers. So I had it all setup on my MacBook Pro previously working fine but now I found logging into my iMac for LastPass to be missing altogether from my Extensions. I re-installed it. Having had to sign in all over again etc and now when I go to another computer (again logged in with my Firefox account) then the Extension is not there!!!! So damn annoying. What's going on here? Thanks!

i cannot install lastpass extension anymore, unless i update to latest firefox version.

this will force me to switch browsers to Chrome or Opera.

I don't like being forced to install the latest firefox.

I intend to stay with older versions that work better.

fix this crap please !

Hello everyone. I make backups of folder "bookmarkbackups" in Firefox profile folder, so that when I have to make a restore after a data loss (for whatever reason), I can also restore my bookmarks. I'd like to be able to restore my extensions too, and to do this it would be enough to have a backup of the list of extensions I had installed before the trouble happened. However, if I backup the subfolder "extensions" of the profile folder, I would have a list of files the name of which looks like:

FirefoxColor@mozilla.com.xpi idcac-pub@guus.ninja.xpi uBlock0@raymondhill.net.xpi vpn@proton.ch.xpi {3d92ddc3-5581-453f-ad9f-d9ea864d1f9a}.xpi {531906d3-e22f-4a6c-a102-8057b88a1a63}.xpi

..so that in most cases I cannot guess the extension name from the file name. My purpose is to install manually the extensions in the new browser installation, once I have the list of the extensions. Moreover, in that folder you find all the extensions, both the ones which were active, and the ones which were inactive... But I'd like to have a list of the active ones so that I can re-install only that ones.

Does anyone know how can I get such a list, starting from the profile folder?
