Is there a way I can have Firefox permanently offer the option to generate a secure password? Many, many, MANY times Firefox will not recognize that a particular input field is for a password, and therefore does not offer the option to generate one. Considering everything on this forsaken planet requires creating an account now, this minor issue has become very common and annoying for me.

To reiterate: I would like Firefox to always offer to generate a password, regardless of how the input field is labeled or marked up. Thanks!

edit: I don't know how to delete this. turns out this is a known bug on firefox on linux. Firefox cannot actually save payment info, but doesn't serve an error to the user. however in the console it will throw a NS_ERROR_ABORT error: "User canceled OS unlock entry" error when it tries to save. the one solution i looked at seemed way too complicated for me so i am simply going to give up and try to keep my cc closer to me and not get frustrated when it doesn't work.

when i work in any web page and i try to back to previous page browser disconnect the page and shows loading page error (problem loading page). Is this a browser problem or any network issue , after update this shows multiple times when i try to go to previous page . 'problem that i face ' Server Not Found

   Check to make sure you’ve typed the website address correctly and try again in a few moments.
   Check your network connection.
   Check that Firefox has permission to access the web (you might be connected but behind a firewall).

I have always used Firefox to access my account with Spectrum.net, until the past few days, when my login has been rejected, repeatedly. Talking to a Spectrum tech rep, she told me to try to log in using Chrome. I tried it, and had no trouble changing my password and then logging in to my account. The tech rep concluded that the problem therefore lies with Firefox. Does Firefox need to be re-set somehow? Thanks! Hollis Barber

All are identified as coming from Firefox. They are easy to remove but every few minutes another will pop up. McAfee cannot find or remove them.

Please help me remove this nuisance virus.

I'm having a problem trying to download and save a "back round photo" on my homepage, the "gear icon" is also missing at the bottom right corner of the screen...only the "edit icon" appears and its useless.

It says to drag and drop but that does not work. I minimized both windows and dragged the one tab to the 'larger' window and nothing happens. My email keeps opening in a new window and it never did before. It was a tab in my original window, and now it is so much harder for me to work.

I do not wish any of my passwords to be stored anywhere it isn't absolutely necessary. My own highly secure method I've been using for many years is listing them all on a removable drive that is encrypted and only in my PC's when necessary. Therefore, I wish to disable any and all PW Managers in the software I use. Please instruct me how to permanently disable the PW Manager in all Mozilla software.

Firefox new today stopped from loading some of my own websites that are http. Some http sites still work. Sends me to my hosting site https://www.forexample.org/login_up.php Cleared all history and caches. No change. Turned off http to https. No change. Again, just started today with no other changes on my part.

With the latest update to version 155, I lost all my tabs.

In my Settings, Startup, I do have checked "Open previous windows and tabs". This has worked many times after shutdown and restarting.

But this latest update did not start ver 155 with all my tabs. Has anyone else seen this? On Win 11 laptop. Steveg

I now have a very long Account Recovery Key which I have saved in a secure place, but I don't know how or when to use it. I am 85 years old, and am challenged whenever I have to sign in.

I would like to be able to turn off preload of videos (and images) so that I can watch a page with a lot of videos and only load those that I want to see. This is important if you don't have a high bandwith or a lot of data. I am sure I have done this before but now I am not able to achieve that.
