Prior to the newest update (I suspect-- as I had access to them earlier today), I was able to use the new group Tabs feature and no longer seem to be able to do so. I checked the update log and saw that something seemed to have happened within the last two or so hours and would like to see if I did something wrong or if I can get access to those Group Tabs again as it was extremely useful and awesome

Hi, First of all, thank you very much for this feature. It's very helpful. Since IE8 died I've not seen implementation of this feature as simple and good as your one.

But, are there any settings for it? Mainly asking because want to enable default grouping for a tabs opened from another "alone" tab. Would like them to auto-create group with their parent tab. And also would be great to have a possibility to change behavior like: put new tab at the start/end of the group, or to even not include tabs into existing group.

I am using the Firefox browser version 138. However I am not able to use the Tab Groups from firefox. I cannot add any Tabs to any group as there is no option for that.

I love the 'pin tab' feature and use it heavily. Every now and then my window gets closed and all my pinned tabs are gone. Not sure why it closes but I do not do it intentionally.

I am on Macbook Pro - keep the OS and Firefox versions current - this has happened over several version of OS and Firefox.

How can I recover the pinned settings easily - currently I bookmark them all and then have to open and pin them again. A real pain in the ass, especially when it seems to happen once a week.

I recently updated to Firefox 138.0.1 to use the new tab groups feature, which allows grouping and labeling tabs, as outlined in Mozilla’s support article (expected for all users by May 6, 2025). However, after updating, I don’t see the tab groups option when dragging tabs or right-clicking them. Has anyone else faced this issue? Could it be due to the progressive rollout, a conflicting extension, or a setting I need to enable? I’ve tried restarting Firefox and checking the tab bar, but no luck. Any community solutions or workarounds to enable tab groups would be greatly appreciated! Please share your experiences or fixes.

Hello, My cat walked all over my keyboard today and created some new windows. After that I couldn't get back my second window. I tried following troubleshooting, but it hasn't helped.

The latest firefox update introduced tab groups, something I've been eagerly waiting for ever since chrome released it!

However, my firefox's tab groups don't hide the tabs correctly. In the video demo I see that when you click on the name of the tab group, it should collapse all the tabs and hide them.

In my firefox, when I click the tab group name, the tabs don't get hidden as expected.

I tried disabling all my extensions and restarting firefox, also tried in private mode, and it still was having the same experience.

Are there any about:config settings that I might have accidentally changed that could be causing this?

I have read a Mozilla blog that you can make tab groups now, i have tried to make a tab group and it for some reason i can't, i looked at Mozilla's guide for the Tab groups, they didn't help. Does anybody know how to fix this problem?

How will I know when Tab Groups is available to me. When it is available will it be an extension or built into a version DISREGARD THIS QUESTION I HAVE THE ANSWER

Due to not everything reloading every time, a connectivity problem I can't blame Firefox for, I now have 3 windows, together comprising all the tabs I want [OK some are duplicated, but it's easy to remove those...]. How can I stick those all back into one window? - with my pinned tabs at the head., which is where they were before...
