I don't understand why a page is not opening in normal windows, but it opens in private windows. I have tried to clear the cache, but I still have the same problem. Not all URLs have this issue; just some of them.

i was having a firefox file not installed in my desktop but i can open the browser it was in privet browsing by default if i close it it will restart firefox and back as normal i install firefox from the web but this time i cant change my search history (never remember)

Due mostly to upgrades in the app software, it's necessary to restart Firefox on occasion. Also, it's necessary due to OS upgrades. While the Restore Previous Session is a wonderful feature, it arbitrarily (and properly, by default) forgets all of the Private Tabs. But, there are times when I'd like to save some or all of the Private Tabs I've got open. A 'settable' feature to 'Remember Private Tabs during Restart' would be a tremendous asset at times.

I look at porn on my Android phone. I use Private Browsing to do so. Why are my Private Browsing addresses appearing as Firefox Suggest results that appear outside of Private Browsing as well? And why does Pornhub show me a personalized home page when I'm using Private Browsing? None of these pages are in my browser history because I've only accessed them via Private Browsing. But these "features" sort of defeat the purpose of it don't you think?

I've just switched from Chrome to Firefox and never had this issue with Chrome.

It's not that they are not in my Firefox downloads manager, which I expected. It's that I confirmed before closing my private browsing window that they were in my Downloads folder on my C drive, and when I went back after closing the private browsing window they were gone. Under "recent files" in my file browser it showed a couple of the most recent downloads and when I tried to click to open them it said they had been moved or deleted. Entering the first couple words of the file titles in the search bar in my file browser yields absolutely nothing.

This was over 30 files or so. It will be really irritating to try to find and download all of them again. Does anyone know of any way for me to get them back???

I previously asked WHY I CANNOT open Firefox Private, and saw a reply that stated ALL Firefox is Now Private. Then WHY is there still a Firefox Private purple setting opening page I used to use, but now can no longer access?
