This is absolutely driving me out of my mind, I no longer have a tiny drag space above my tabs- when I 'customizem toolbar' and try to add a flexible space above them, I can't. The only solution is to constantly have the menu bar turned on, and at that point I'd just opt out of FF. I cannot figure out why this happened, and I cannot seem to fix it- please help me

You used to be able to view all of your synced tabs from other devices by going into the toolbar menu > your profile > the device name but I went in today to pull a tab from my phone onto my laptop and it only shows about 5 tabs total. You have to click "see all # tabs" which then opens in the sidebar of the browser. I hate the sidebar, it just does not work well with my brain/visualization needs, and have been doing everything i can to avoid it. Is there a way for me to revert the display settings of synced tabs specifically? As I use them frequently enough that I am going to have to look into changing browsers if I continue to have to utilize the sidebar

This shield on the search bar is making firefox on win11 unusable for me. I set browser.urlbar.trustPanel.featureGate = false but it still displays. Why do they keep making these changes, it seems like every month there is a new change requiring setting changes,

when I move the mouse to the top of the screen in full screen the bar thing shows up, this has caused issues and I want it to not do that, please tell me how to disable this

On updating to firefox 155 in widows 10, I lost my left side bar on start up with just blank page and search engine box, with firefox application menu n top right of screen. I would like my Bookmarks menu on left sideof screen with menu drop-down folders containing site tabs contained in left side bar as previously obtained. Can anyone help with this frustration Many thanks, Dickie

When Firefox is running in a non-maximized window, an unwanted empty space appears on the left side of the tab bar, before the first tab.

This space is not present when the Firefox window is maximized. It appears automatically whenever the window is restored to a smaller/non-maximized size.

The issue affects the tab bar layout and leaves a noticeable unused area on the left side of the tabs. I would like to know whether this is expected behavior or a UI bug.

Firefox version: 155.0 64-bit Operating system: WINDOWS 11 25H2 64-bit

Since the latest update, the findbar is not displaying for me. I hit ctrl+f and I can type a word and it will highlight on the page, but I can't see the findbar itself.

In my about:config, the only modified findbar preferences I have modified are:

userchrome.floating-findbar-on-right userchrome.floating-findbar-on-right.enabled

I have tried changing them from true to false, but it doesn't fix the issue.

I have switched off the "story" but want to get rid of the overlay for this. How can I do this. It is visually offensive to have this big gray blob in the middle of my screen. I have been loyal for firefox because I do not want this kind of intrusion.

Now when I click on something in Firefox, for example a Facebook post, it opens in full-screen mode, not just in the selected window size. When the new window opens in full screen, it covers other stuff already on the desktop. It's f'ing annoying. How do I choose to have new windows open at the existing window size?

Coming from Vivaldi, and prior to that Opera Presto. I wonder if there is a way to customize the sidebar to get the bookmark folder to "Expand on hover", or to expand the sidebar button to a few pixels on the entire left side, and keep the tabs on top?

I know this was possible last time I used FF, maybe 10 years ago between Presto and Vivaldi. But I don’t remember if it was a browser config or add-on!?

I have just reopened my Firefox and have found that recent changes have suddenly put my tabs right at the top of the window - initially very confusing because I feared that I had lost them. I would like to put them back where I find them easier to work with, how can I do that?
