I want to pin a couple of extension to my toolbar, and not have them buried in the Extensions drop down. I used to have this, but had to reload my computer and lost it.

I cannot see the text I highlight for copy or links so I don't know if it's copied or not- is there a way to adjust that? It's very irritating..

Hi anyone got any suggestion on how to get the Firefox search bar in the middle of the page, like before please. I do not like using the search bar in the taskbar, i know. First World Problems!! ;)

I left my computer for a while, and when I returned and took it off screensaver I started going through my emails when I noticed that the bookmarks on the toolbar are missing. The toolbar is present, and I toggled between only show on new tab, never show and always show a few times, but they're still missing. I even tried bookmarking two webpages, but they were not added to the toolbar. As stated, I have the bookmark toolbar to always show. Firefox just updated yesterday, 4/8/25 to 130.1.0, and I'm pretty sure that they were there this morning, but I can't be totally sure. I noticed my computer had updates available, so knowing updating it would not have any effect on Firefox, I restarted the computer while updating so I could also restart Firefox with a bit of a delay. I had also restarted it twice before without any luck. The only thing I did besides updating Firefox was enabled the sidebar, which I then turned off and still did not have any bookmarks in the toolbar. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, but I may not be able to view and any responses or make the stated changes until Friday.

I'm experiencing a visual issue when typing in text input fields (such as input boxes or textareas) in Firefox. While typing, a dark overlay or block appears behind the current word or text I'm typing, which makes it very hard to read. It looks like some kind of highlight or shadow, possibly related to spellcheck or text recognition.

This issue occurs across different websites and makes it uncomfortable to type for long periods. I'm currently using Firefox [137.0.2] on Windows 10.

I've attached a screenshot that shows the problem clearly.

Things I've tried so far: - Disabling spellcheck - Changing themes - Disabling extensions - Testing in private window

None of these solved the issue.

Notably, switching to the **light theme** makes the issue disappear — the text input background becomes clear and easy to read again. However, I prefer to use the **dark theme**, so I’m looking for a solution that works in dark mode as well.

Can anyone help identify what's causing this or suggest a way to disable this effect while keeping the dark theme?

Is there a possibility to keep the tabs at the top while in full-screen mode, or make it an option? As I need tabs but work best in full-screen mode so windows is pushed to the side.

Firefox now has a dark background on a "simple" html page without css styling (see screenshot #1). You may reproduce this issue by browsing to a local page like http://localhost:8080 with something like a 404-page (see screenshot #2)

That far - dark mode is cool, isn't it? Yep, it would be. If the text would not be black, on a dark background.

Happens to me without any plugins, or any userChrome etc. (Screenshot was taken with plugins on, but disabling them (and restarting) had no effect)

Workarounds discovered: - set `layout.css.prefers-color-scheme.content-override` to 1 (This changes nearly everything to white, which is not what I want.

- Setting theme to the builtin white/light works, but:

    - View Source has white text on white background (see screenshot #3)
    - Everything is in light mode, and thats simply not what I want

What I would expect: - Viewing a page without shitty modifications - Viewing a white page (suprise suprise) white

Does the recent update Firefox 137.0 retain the separate address bar and search bar? One of the things I hate about MS Edge is that there is no separate search bar. Have not been pleased about the small size of the Firefox search bar the last few years. The user should be able to size it at will.

I use the latest editions of FireFox x64 137.0.1 and Windows Server 2016 Standard updated. Variable fonts on any websites are displayed incorrectly, the layout.css.font-variations.enabled setting is blocked and set to false. The popular ideas offered by AI did not help. Is there way to fix it?

Some extensions, like Bitwarden or Notes, seem to have added their own shortcut icons between the settings cog and the other functions below the tabs, with seemingly no way to remove them? I already have them in my regular toolbar / extension overflow, which has much more space available, so I don't see the point of why there's duplicate ones in the sidebar taking away tab space?

Hello there！ I recently updated Firefox to 137.0.1. But the update doesn't automatically display the status bar when you hover over the bottom of the page. I had to resize Firefox to make it full screen to display the status bar properly. This makes it difficult for me to use Firefox. I'm pretty sure this is due to a version update. This problem occurred after I updated the Firefox browser, during which time my Windows system was not updated. Is there any solution? Or how can I download a previous version of the browser?

Hi, I'm trying to hide my tabs bar so I can reduce clutter with the Tree-style tabs extension, but there is a problem Every solution I've found also hides the X, maximize, and minimize buttons above it. Is there any way to fix this? I have a userChrome.css file already, by the way.

Sometimes, for the past year or so, the icon for the cursor in the search bar will get large and obscure the text near it. Here's a pic.

I always have the latest version of both Firefox and the Mac OS.

Firefox 137.0.1, how can I make the scroll bar wider? I tried modifying 'widget.non-native-theme.scrollbar.size.override' in about.config but setting it to 40 made no difference.

Is there any person out there whether from the FF Staff, Developers, Community or End-Users who know how to resize the latest grotesque FF Interface of the latest download version 136.0.1? All my extensions have disappeared. The side bar is too wide. Both the Tools and Menu bars are grotesquely wide.

What is the point in Mozilla FF asking for Feedback End-Users, Community, to Contribute. if it is not going to take on board their views?

Please, do not leave this matter just to the public to deal with, You FF should deal with it for it is your product.
