I open Firefox and the search box has defaulted to EBAY. How do I change it to Duck Duck or something else ? There's no down arrow by the seach box to change and no instructions in your help. It's too hard to find the answer. Thanks!

Dear Mozilla Team, I installed my Fieefox on Linux Mont on an old Laptop I use as my daily machine. Firefox however after login does not sync to my previous installs. I have installed and removed firefox on my mobile (iphone), with no change. Also re-installing and singning out, signing back in did not help. What can I do to get all my bookmarks and PWs back?

I've just updated Firefox to 136.0 and found the "return closed tab" key became blank and ineffective. I read the update log but didn't find infomation about this change. The function was useful to me and I hope to get it back.

Hello, I am having trouble to have my Firefox desktop 128.8.0esr retain my choices on how to handle the various file types it downloads - save, ask or open with a corresponding MS Office application (broad sense).

No problem to reach or configure each type available, e.g. 'Microsoft Word Document >> Always Ask', my issue is that my settings DO NOT get permanently stored, so if I restart Firefox, everything defaults back to standard choices. This is affecting exclusively all choices from 'Applications' list; the radio button option right below on 'what to do with other files' is being respected [surviving Firefox restart] accordingly.

This issue has been around on previous versions as well, I was hoping that next revisions might solve the problem however still frustrated on this particular matter. Have also seen the article https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/change-firefox-behavior-when-open-file and specifically at 'Changing Download Actions' my issue can be described as its item [5. Close Settings page. Changes will automatically be saved] is not working at all.

My 'prefs.js' file is not read-only, I have just K-Now extension installed and I already tried to issue an installation refresh, however problem persists. Thanks to advise on what to do.

For a month now i have noticed an annoying bug related to the fact that when i do a search A, and then i do a search B and open a site related to B, when i press the back button, i don't see search B, but it goes back to search A. Is there a solution?

As a emporarly workaround i open the sites in a new tab in order to not lose the search B...but not so good since It require more taps.

Hi. Block Party was just pitched by the WaPo but I see few people here are using it ... yet. Perhaps because you're not monitoring it? I am curious about how it got such a MAJOR free (?) promotion and whether/if there's a way you can or do verify it's claims? For instance, maybe it does what it says it does (clean/close gaps in privacy) but what does it do with the intel it gains?

Is there any chance you can/will verify it in the future?

When I am working on my website (Google sites) I may edit the page, or I may not change the page, but when I reload to refresh the page the view jumps a long way from where I was looking. This makes it difficult to work on my website .

It looks like there is a feature in that refresh does two jumps as if something is preventing some sort of automatic bookmark feature from working?
