how can I revert the tab UI to how it used to look?

The new UI makes the tabs too long, blocky, and annoying to use/traverse on mobile, it takes me nearly double the time to scroll through my tabs than it used to. I would really appreciate a way to revert this as it is making my experience unpleasant and I am genuinely considering switching to a new browser because of it.

I would also love a way to turn the new tab Ui off, it's so clunky to navigate :(
