
Unable to sign in to Thunderbird
My contract with Plusnet is due to expire so I renewed it. P would not accept my password as it did not meet their standards. I added a symbol but now I am unable to sign in to Thunderbird. I have checked all my settings which have not changed except the password but still I cannot sign in to get emails. Not sure I understand the problem. Is it that the password has changed, but you don't know how to make Thunderbird use the new one? Doesn't Thunderbird give you the option to enter the new password when it cannot connect to the server?

If you forgot the correct password, then you must use your mail provider's website/password process to change the password again.
